After walking for a bit, I reached my destination, the party. I didn't want to crash it by storming in, so I hid somewhere and listened to what they were talking about.
"Okay, so now that y/n is gone, we can plan the surprise." I heard Hajime say.
"Listen, Hajime. I'm concerned. Why are we planning something that we're gonna do months later?" asked Fuyuhiko.
"I don't actually know. I guess we should just prepare early so the only thing we have to do when the time comes is the preparation?" I saw my chance to come in.
"What preparations?" I asked. Everyone looked so surprised after hearing me say that. They immediately changed the subject.
"O-oh! We were just talking about Halloween preparations. Do you want to join?" Sonia quickly said.
"Didn't Fuyuhiko say something about it being months away? Halloween is less than a month away though." I said, trying to catch them off guard.
"Silly me! I meant Christmas! Right everyone?"
"But how about Halloween? Are we just gonna miss out on it?" I frowned.
I didn't frown because they were skipping Halloween though. I knew they were hiding something from me. That's the real reason as to why I frowned.
"That's what I was saying to Hajime. He always makes stupid mistakes like that." Fuyuhiko said as he elbowed Hajime, signalling for him to respond.
"R-right!" I raised my eyebrow, still suspicious. After a few seconds, I finally decided to change the subject.
"I was thinking... isn't it weird that Monokuma hasn't given us another motive yet? It's been a while. Just so you know, I'm grateful he hasn't given one. I was just curious." Suddenly, Monokuma appeared.
"My, my, are you asking for another motive? If you want one that badly, I'll give you one! Just give me enough time to think of one. Puhuhuhuhu!" Then he went.
