Gon pov

I stand in line at the chocolate shop. I was buying chocolate for Killua's birthday which was coming up pretty soon. I wanted to get him as many chocolate robots as possible.

When I reached the front of the line I looked at the girl who was helping people check out their various types of chocolates. She had long black hair with stripes of blue mixed in. I hand her the pile of chocolate robots and examine the girl further.

She was quite young maybe around me and Killua's age those probably a little older. I was surprised when she raised her head smiling sweetly at me. Her eyes weren't normally colored and in fact they didn't seem to have much color to them at all. A weird shade of pale white and gray. I look at the girl some more before realizing she was blind. A little taken aback I begin to ramble out nonsense that probably made me seem like an idiot. I mean Killua called me an idiot about 24/7 so it wasn't anything different.

"I didn't know you were. I thought you were. Sorry about this. My name is Gon Freecss. I- what's your name?" I say in a blur of words. The girl tilted her head as she handed me a bag full of Chocolate robots.

"Here you go sir. I know that I'm blind but I assume you're about to see me. See me and my nametag which is on my shirt..." She trailed her voice off and covered her mouth like she was about to burst into laughter. I look to her shirt reading the name and feeling like a fool for not seeing it there.

"Oh y/n-san that's such nice name. Well It was nice to meet you y/n-san!" I say both wanting to get out of the shop as fast as possible and at the same time wanting to stay and get to know the girl.

"Have a nice day Gon." she says as I turn around and begin to walk away. I could always come back to the shop and get to know her better. She seemed like a very interesting person to get to know.

I leave the shop and begin to walk to the house like place me and Killua had been staying in for awhile. I made it back and hid the chocolate in the best hiding spot I could find before relaxing on the bed staring at the ceiling thinking about the girl in the chocolate shop.

I wanted to know how she was able to live her daily life and if some things that non-blind people thought were hard for them wasn't as hard as it seemed. I wanted to know her and made a promise that next time Killua ran out of chocolate robots I'd be the one to go get them to visit with y/n a bit more.
