Kurapika pov

I was walking on the edge of the forest where, if you went deeper and dug around for a bit you'd find the remains of a man who helped in killing my clan. I push the thought away focusing on getting back to a place where i could get the yucky blood off me without others noticing. Which was going to be hard despite the fact it was late at night.

Suddenly I heard an odd sound. Kinda like singing but not birds singing. It was the sound of a human singing. Could it be someone from the troupe following me or something? Did they want me to find them? Was I being tracked by someone else entirely? I swerve around looking and trying to figure out where the person was. Deeper in the trees. I walk cautiously in the direction and reach a small clearing in the trees.

A girl with long hair was laying on her back looking upwards singing a sweet tune. A song I'd heard a lot when I was younger. Pairo's mother used to sing it to me and him when I stayed in his house.

"Who are you?" I ask. The girl turned her head in my direction and stared blankly at me. It was a bit weird her eyes seemed to bore into me. Shoot I'm still all bloody. That's probably why she's staring at me like that!

"I'm sorry the blood isn't what you think. I-"

"Who are you?" she asked back. I blink. It was as if she hadn't seen the blood and really hadn't even seen me. I step a little closer to the girl realizing how her head kept turning in the direction I was yet her eyes didn't seem to do anything but stare. Wait was she unable to see me? Even if you use Zetsu you could still see the person but she...oh she's blind. I think to myself feeling slightly dumb for overthinking.

"My name's y/n to answer your question. But you haven't answered my question. Who are you and why does your aura seem like a kurta? I thought they were all-" The girl turns her head back to the sky not finishing the sentence. I watch her carefully her eyes showed no expression but a tear rolled down her cheek.

"I'm Kurapika from the Kurta clan....my clan is dead i'm the only survivor." I say to her. Immediately the girl jumps to her feet and rushes over to me running straight into me hugging my super tight. I stumble back a little. What was going on?

"There's still one of you left! Please don't leave, please, please please don't leave me!" She sobbed into my blood soaked clothing. I blink, confused.

"What are you talking about? I don't even know you." I say trying to gentle push the girl off me. She had a pretty strong grip. The blind girl took a deep breath calming herself.

"My mother was a kurta my father was just a normal person. When my mom never came back after visiting her parents....and the news about what happened got to us-" I stop her from talking by hugging her back. She was a half Kurta meaning that I was no longer the last one left. Even if this girl was blind and only half kurta she still had kurta blood in her and I knew one thing for sure, I didn't want any of her blood being spilled.
