Chuuya Pov

"This is your new partner. Don't underestimate her abilities." Mori said before leaving me with the girl. She looked at me with an unreadable expression but her eyes told me one thing. She was blind. Her hair black and blue hair was pulled up into a messy bun which made it easier to see her pale colored eyes.

"Don't stare at me like that. I may be blind but I can practically feel your eyes staring at me. My name is y/n, and I assume your my new partner, Nakahara Chuuya." She said. I don't respond for a second and it proved to be a second too delayed since the girl seemed to grow annoyed and lunged at me despite not being able to see a thing.

"At least respond you moron." She snapped while smacking my arm. She probably was going for my face but I had moved just in time.

"Don't go smacking your new partner! Show me some goddamn respect!" I shout at her. The girl tilted her head to the side making her neck crack a little. Then she smirked at me.

"You should show me some of your respect if you've even got any. You may be merged with a god of calamity but it doesn't make you a god yourself." She growled. I take a step backwards. How'd she know that about me? Mori-san wouldn't just go saying that to anyone so how would this girl know?

"How do you know that?" I ask her a little taken aback at how much her blindness didn't change the fact she was slightly terrifying maybe even adding to it.

"My ability dumbass. I can read backstories or as we call it childhoods." She said in a matter of fact tone. I look at the blind girl for a few minutes. She stared blankly back at me.

"Are you just going to stand there or are we doing this?" She asked after getting too annoyed to stay silent anymore.

"Huh? Do what y/n-san?" I say staring at her confused. She rolled her eyes and pulled something from her bag, a slip of paper that had some sort of instructions on them. She handed them to me to read them.

"Mori already told me what I need to do but you can read it for yourself. When your ready I'll be outside." she said before walking to the door of my room. I read the instructions that me and her would be following for our 'mission'. I was kinda surprised that Mori had so much trust in the blind girl but I had no objections. I'd just have to protect her if it came to that.
