Warning- this book deals with a girl losing her friend to suicide. The theme of suicide is explicitly spoken about. I didn't write in the suicide scene but this book deals with the effect of Cormac's death on those closest to him. There are no violent, graphic scenes (apart from the mention of blood).
If you are dealing with suicidal thoughts or have recently lost someone to suicide please do not read this book. I also don't recommend reading if you are younger than 15.
Below are some suicide hotlines from most countries. If I have left a country out or if any of the details are incorrect please let me know.
If you are struggling or having a bad time, getting help can change your life. If you don't want to call a hotline there are also various chat options or email options depending on where you live. Please don't hesitate to reach out to any of the services below or any alternative services you know of.
You are loved. You matter. The world is better with you in it. Never think otherwise.
