Chapter 1: First Day Blues

River Rose is not ready to go back to school because she feels the ache about losing Drake as her boyfriend and she feels like she wanted to be Drake's girlfriend again. She felt like she knew what will be like for going back to school by seeing everyone dating except for her. River Rose grabs her cell phone and her purse as she walks out of her bedroom. Stella asked, "What are you wearing?" River Rose said, "I'm wearing this outfit to school and I just want to look my best." Stella said, "Look Riv, Marisol wore the same outfit in her freshmen year and she got in trouble by Mr. Tassel." River Rose said, "Oh yeah because I'm not going to get in trouble." Stella said, "You don't know what you're doing and I'm telling you that Drake is not coming back for you." River Rose asked, "Will you stop saying that?" Stella said, "Riv, you know how you and Drake had a rocky relationship until Drake slept with my best friend." River Rose said, "I love him." Stella said, "Just date another guy." River Rose said, "I know that he wouldn't leave me." Stella said, "Just listen to me, River and you have to let go of him." River Rose said, "I just can't leave him out of my life like this." Stella said, "Just listen to me, River and you think that you and Drake would go back to square one from the relationship that he had an affair with my best friend." River Rose said, "I-I don't know." Stella said, "Riv, you know what he did to you by keeping the secret behind your back." River Rose said, "I know but I love him." Stella said, "You need to date someone else." River Rose said, "Fine." Stella and River Rose both walked downstairs. Caroline said, "Alright girls, have a great day on your first day of school." Stella and River Rose both walked out of the house. They walked to school and Stella said, "Just remember, date someone else and don't keep thinking about Drake." River Rose said, "Oh okay." Stella went over to her friends and River Rose went over to her locker as she felt the ache in her. Ricardo came over to River Rose and said, "Hey pretty girl." River Rose said, "Hey sweetie." Ricardo kiss River Rose so much and he pulls away. River Rose said, "You are so crazy over me." Ricardo said, "You know me and I really think I should get crazy for tonight." River Rose said, "You just want something special for tonight." Ricardo said, "There will be and I know how you are with me." River Rose said, "I always knew you would say that." Drake looks at River Rose and he remembers how everything went from their relationship. Marissa said, "Look Drake, River Rose didn't deserve you and you know that she used you." Drake said, "You don't know anything about River Rose and you need to lay off about her. I care about her more than anything in this world and quit messing with her." Marissa said, "Fine." Ricardo said, "Babe, you want to come over to my house tonight." River Rose said, "Sure." The bell rings and River Rose walks to her class as Drake follows her. River Rose knew how everything went from their relationship and she miss him. Drake stops walking and said, "Riv." River Rose stops walking as she turn around. Drake came over to River Rose and said, "Riv, I just can't keep on hurting you like this and I don't want to date Marissa." River Rose said, "I know and I don't have anymore words to say to you." Drake said, "Riv, please let me just take you back." River Rose said, "I'm tired of getting too upset for being cheated on and I don't want this anymore." Drake said, "River Rose, you know that you're still in love with me." River Rose said, "I know but that doesn't mean that you can date me while I'm in a relationship with Ricardo." Drake said, "River, you know that you're not even happy with him." River Rose said, "Yes I am and I really want you to stop trying to get back with me." Drake said, "Babe, you really can't seem to listen to me." River Rose said, "Don't call me babe because I'm not yours anymore and I can date anyone that I want." Drake said, "Fine but listen to me, you can date any hot guys that you want and you're not going to find any right guys that aren't like me from our first relationship." River Rose is now trapped for everything that Drake said to her and she'll never date someone like him. Drake walks away and River Rose looks at the empty hallway. River Rose remembers how she and Drake first making out from the empty hallway. She felt really lonely without Drake but she's already in a relationship with Ricardo. River Rose felt like she'll never have any love to Drake ever again and she decided to walk out of the school on her first day. River Rose went to Starbucks and she doesn't want to go back to school at all. As the next hour passed, Drake went to go find River Rose and he felt like it was his fault for losing her not River Rose. Ricardo said, "Hey." Drake asked, "What do you want?" Ricardo said, "You are nothing but a stalker to try to get with my girlfriend." Drake said, "I don't know what you're talking about but that was none of your business." Ricardo said, "You can try but obviously, it's not going to happen and you can't seem to stop me for dating the hot girlfriend of mine which it happens to your ex." Drake said, "Listen here Ricardo, you don't know anything about River Rose and you don't deserve her like you did with Samantha." Ricardo said, "Sam wasn't the greatest one and I know that you're not the greatest guy ever." Drake said, "It was a mistake for having me to lose her." Ricardo said, "That's exactly what you did." Drake asked, "What the hell are you talking about?" Ricardo said, "You slept with Stella's best friend and I knew you wouldn't want River back." Drake asked, "Did you set us up?" Ricardo asked, "How did you figured that out?" Drake said, "You send us the letters from our lockers at the time and you did this to us to have River and I break up because of you." Stella and Marisol came over to them. Marisol said, "You." Marisol slapped Ricardo across the face and Ricardo asked, "What the hell was that for?" Marisol said, "We heard the whole thing, Ricardo and you were jealous of River for dating Drake." Stella said, "You're a real jerk." Drake said, "I better go find River." Drake walks out of the school and he went to go find River Rose. River Rose saw Drake and Drake found her. River Rose is about to get up and Drake came in to Starbucks and he came over to her. Drake pulled up a chair right next to River Rose and he sat down. River Rose asked, "Drake, what are -" Drake kiss River Rose so much and River Rose couldn't let go. Drake pulls away and said, "Riv, I'm sorry for kissing you." River Rose said, "Drake, I waited for that kiss for so long." Drake chuckles and said, "Well at least that you do and I think Ricardo set me and Marisol up." River Rose asked, "Why would he do this to you guys?" Drake said, "I think he was doing this for revenge and he was jealous of us dating." River Rose said, "I guess I was being trapped with all of this." Drake said, "You have nothing to worry about, baby girl and I know that I will win you back." River Rose said, "I know you will." Drake said, "This is our secret between us that no one will find out." River Rose said, "Well not all of them." Drake said, "I know and your sister always figured things out." River Rose said, "I know." Drake said, "I really want you back and I just don't know if I'm ever going to lose you forever while I'm in a relationship with Marissa." River Rose said, "I've been feeling the same thing and I'm scared of losing you forever." Drake said, "You know that we've been exes for like three months and I can't take this anymore." River Rose said, "I can't either." Drake said, "This is getting out of hand for us dating our new dates and I just want to end the relationship like already." River Rose said, "You and Marissa are happy for each other while I stay in my bedroom by crying my eyes out." Drake said, "Babe, I'm not even happy in my relationship with Marissa and I know how she is for taking things too far." River Rose said, "You're not even happy with your relationship with Marissa." Drake said, "Nope. I feel like it's ruining us from our relationship and all I ever do is destroying most of the stuff that Marissa gave me." River Rose asked, "What about mine's?" Drake said, "I would never destroy anything from you because I've been saving a lot of stuff when we first dated back in the sixth grade and I don't think I would lose you forever." River Rose said, "Now I feel even worse for losing everything and the one thing that I wanted is kids." Drake said, "Baby girl, we'll have kids in the future and they're waiting for us." River Rose said, "I just want to be a mom and I can finally be happy." Drake said, "And you will." River Rose said, "I really want to have a wedding at the backyard." Drake said, "I want that with you and everything that I put my mind through on this, I want this to be just the two of us together." River Rose said, "I want you so bad and I can't go on like this anymore." Drake said, "Don't give up, baby girl and I know it's hard on the both of us seeing each other at school." River Rose said, "I want you back." Drake said, "I want you back too." River Rose said, "Please babe, let me stay with you." Drake said, "I can't baby girl but you know that I want this to be a secret." River Rose said, "I guess that's how you are with me." Drake said, "I always keep you safe with me." River Rose said, "I just want you so bad and I can't stand of being upset all the time." Drake said, "Awe babe, I knew you wanted me and you should've just call me when you're lonely." River Rose said, "Maybe I was just too upset to call you." Drake said, "Babe, I know how upset you were but I really want you back so bad." River Rose said, "You can have me." Drake said, "You want me to pick you up and take you over to Ricardo's house." River Rose said, "I probably can't and I just don't want him." Drake said, "You want me to come over." River Rose said, "I want you and I need you." Drake said, "You baby bug." River Rose said, "Please stay with me." Drake asked, "Is something wrong?" River Rose asked, "What are you talking about?" Drake said, "Babe, the way how you act is a little bit odd." River Rose said, "You're right and you probably don't want me to stay with you." River Rose got up and she walks out. Drake felt like he has never seen River Rose act this way before and he really needs to find out about River Rose's new attitude. River Rose felt more ache in her and she felt like she wants to be with Drake forever. Now, she felt like she ruins everything in her and never go back the way how everything went from the very first beginning.
