Chapter 4: Upset Stomach

The next three months finally came, River Rose looks really different and she tries to covered up her stomach with her shirt. Stella asked, "Are you gaining weight?" River Rose said, "I think so and my stomach feels a little funny." Stella said, "We should have that checked because it might be something serious." River Rose said, "I know." Stella asked, "Is Drake coming to the hospital with you?" River Rose said, "Yeah and he already got us in." Stella said, "Great." Stella and River Rose both walked downstairs to go to school. Drake is waiting for River Rose and Ricardo felt really miserable for losing River Rose. River Rose and Stella came in to the school. Marissa asked, "What is she wearing?" Nikki said, "Baggy clothes." Jessica said, "Oh my God." River Rose came over to Drake and said, "Hey sweetie." Drake said, "Hey there my beautiful sunshine." Drake kiss River Rose so much and pulls away. River Rose said, "I'm so bad for wearing baggy clothes like this." Drake said, "You still look beautiful." River Rose said, "At least you think so." Drake said, "Well babe, we have to find out about this upset stomach of yours." River Rose said, "I just feel a little different." Drake said, "I know love but at least I'll be there." River Rose said, "You're the best sweetie." During after school at the hospital, River Rose, Drake, Stella, Tracy, and Marisol went to the room. Dr. Stevens came in and Drake said, "Mom." Tracy said, "Mom." Dr. Stevens said, "Hi sweeties." Drake asked, "Did we just came in to the wrong room?" Dr. Stevens said, "No you didn't and I'll be looking to see about River Rose's stomach." River Rose said, "Maybe I'll be coming back here until six more months." Drake said, "Baby girl, you're going to be just fine." Marisol said, "Just relax." Dr. Stevens put a gel on the scanner joystick and she put it on River Rose's stomach. She starts typing up River Rose's name for the sonogram and starts moving around her stomach. Drake is holding on to River Rose's left hand and Stella saw a baby. Stella asked, "Is that a baby?" Dr. Stevens looks at the sonogram and said, "Oh my God." Drake said, "Oh no." River Rose is in tears and Marisol asked, "What did you two have done?" Tracy said, "You two have sex." Drake said, "I thought we were careful." Caroline and Oliver came in as they saw the baby on the sonogram. Oliver asked, "Did you get your ex girlfriend pregnant?" Drake said, "Dad, I'm sorry and I made a huge mistake for not being careful." Caroline said, "I can't believe this." River Rose sobs, "I'm sorry Mom." Dr. Stevens said, "It's a boy." Tracy said, "Oh my God." River Rose sobs, "A baby boy." Stella said, "It's my little nephew." Drake said, "There's my boy." Oliver said, "That's our grandson." Caroline said, "I guess I have to support you and Drake because of my grandson." River Rose wipes her tears and Drake kissed River Rose's forehead as he pulls away. Tracy said, "Wow, this is crazy." Drake said, "I can't believe we're having a son." River Rose said, "He's everything to us." Drake said, "I can't wait to have a daughter next." Caroline said, "You mean that you guys wanted to be a family of two kids." River Rose said, "Well, I think we both talked about it from last year." Oliver asked, "Do you guys know how hard that is for the both of you to have a baby?" Drake said, "Dad, I think we can handle it." Dr. Stevens said, "I think Drake is right and we have our little twins when we were their age." Caroline said, "That's right and you two were fifteen when you ended up having the twins. I had Stella when I was fourteen and I was too young to have kids but I made it." River Rose said, "You see Mom, I told you that we're trying to be like you." Drake said, "Yeah and River didn't know she was pregnant." River Rose said, "Nope." Dr. Stevens said, "Well, that happens to everyone and you're lucky to come to the hospital about your stomach." Caroline said, "I kept thinking if River is pregnant but apparently not." River Rose said, "I guess our son is still wanting us to be happy." Drake said, "Yeah and he's really happy." Stella said, "At least we get a little nephew." Tracy said, "I know right." Marisol said, "You guys are so lucky to have a baby and I wish I want a baby." Stella asked, "Are you saying that you wanted a baby in your senior year?" Marisol said, "It would be easier." River Rose said, "It makes me feel a little different to look back before I was pregnant." Drake said, "Yeah but now, we're having a son to make us happy and I think we're trying to get back together." River Rose said, "Yeah and I guess it's going to take some time to get back together." Drake said, "Yeah and we're going to try." Stella said, "We hope so because you're the dad to your son." Drake said, "I know and River and I are having our time apart for now until we're ready to date again." Marisol asked, "Then why did you kiss River?" Drake said, "I wanted to." Stella said, "You weren't supposed to kiss her if you wanted your time apart." Drake said, "But I love her and no one isn't like me to date River." River Rose said, "It's not that easy but I'll be hanging out with Lucas later on." Drake said, "As long as you tell him that you're pregnant and make sure that he doesn't hit you." Stella said, "Drake, Lucas never hit a girl and I get that you're trying to protect River but Lucas is nice guy like you." Drake said, "Oh man, I did it again." River Rose said, "Baby, it's okay and I was like that when I was trying too hard on myself for thinking if Ricardo kiss Savannah and Samantha at the time." Drake said, "Well, I did found out that Ricardo kiss Samantha behind your back and it was three months ago." River Rose said, "I don't want to see it because I was hurt and I feel like I can't be with him again after what he did to me." Caroline asked, "How did he get into your bedroom?" River Rose said, "I don't even remember but I was feeling a little dizzy and I couldn't tell if it was Ricardo who came into my bedroom." Stella said, "You were drunk, River and I thought I heard a thump from Ricardo." Dr. Stevens said, "River, you need help." Drake said, "No don't because River already got some help from me and River already promise me that she won't do this again." Marisol said, "I guess you fix her." Oliver asked, "Is this your way of fixing her by having sex with her?" Drake asked, "Why do you have to ask me about this Dad?" Oliver said, "We both knew that River will go back to the same cycle for getting drunk." River Rose said, "Mr. Stevens, I'm not getting drunk again and I don't deserve that in my life." Stella said, "Mr. Stevens, River is right and she's not going to do that again." Drake said, "Yeah Dad, she's pregnant of my son not getting drunk while having my son." Dr. Stevens said, "Honey, River and Drake are right. Just let them have a life and we made it through together. We're like them and it's something how we work things together." Tracy said, "I think River is happy to have my twin brother with her and I always say that they're happily in love." Drake said, "I deserve to have River back and I love her more than anything because I never met a girl who isn't like my River." River Rose said, "You are the only one who I really want to be with and I just hope one day that I'll be your wife." Drake said, "And you will baby girl." Tracy said, "I told you so." Marisol asked, "How come you wanted to marry River Rose?" Drake said, "I want to and I will not have anyone to say something to me that I can't marry to my River Rose." Stella said, "Yeah and you're going to be my brother-in-law in the future." Drake said, "At least I want this to keep the family happy." Dr. Stevens said, "Sweetie, you are the kind of son who knows exactly what to do." Oliver said, "Alright but I want you to understand this and this is not something you should ignore about not getting any help." Drake said, "Dad, I think we already understand that and we're not going to ignore about it anymore." Oliver said, "Good and I just want you guys to learn about this a lot more. There are more -" River Rose, Drake, Marisol, Stella, and Tracy as they all said, "There are more warning signs that are out there about getting drunk and it can lead us more consequences by heading towards death." Dr. Stevens said, "See Oliver, I told you that they already learned that in school and quit telling them about this again." Oliver said, "Never mind." Caroline said, "We're really glad that you guys learned that in school and I guess we learned our lessons here." River Rose said, "Of course we do, Mom." Drake said, "Our son is listening to the conversation." River Rose said, "I guess he learns about this." They all laugh and Marisol said, "That's so funny." River Rose said, "I told you so." They all have fun and learning the consequences of getting drunk by getting some help.
