Y/N POV
Everything was blurry. I could feel myself back laying on the soft, comfortable bed in the hotel. I start clenching my forehead from a horrible headache. I felt so sick to my stomach. How and why did I feel like this?
I blink vigorously when trying to regain full vision. I see someone walking towards me. I turn my head slowly, not trying to provoke the pain in my head. I see Clay holding something in his hand. I couldn't quite make out what it was since my eyesight was still blurry.
"Clay?" I mumble.
"Yep" He replies, popping the p in 'yep' annoyingly.
"What happened last night?" I ask rubbing my head, trying to relieve the pressure.
"Well, you got drunk, kissed my friend, and passed out." He tries to stay calm but I know he's furious.
"Fuck" I sigh, "Just don't blame any of this on Alex it wasn't his fault"
"I wasn't planning on it." He added.
"But I was drunk, you can't be THAT mad at me. I didn't mean to kiss him."
"You're 19, you shouldn't have been drinking in the first place! That was so stupid of you!" He yells.
Tears begin to form in my eyes. Both of us were hurt. We have never had a fight before, at least not this bad.
He looks me directly in the eyes, giving me a stare that could kill thousands and tosses a bottle of ibuprofen to me.
"For the hangover" He says walking out of the room. I hear the front door open close rapidly.
I take a pill out of the bottle and then travel to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. On my way there I see a paper on the dining table. It was a plane ticket that went to Colorado. I assumed it was for me so I grabbed the glass of water that I needed to take the pill with.
After taking the pill, I walk over to the bedroom, throw my clothes into my suitcase, zip it up, and get the hell out of there. I find my way out of the hotel and hop into the taxi I requested.
"To the airport, please." I say entering the taxi. I hold my plane ticket and look down at it, a teardrop falls from my face and onto the ticket. I sniffle and peer out the window, watching the rain lightly fall and hit the ground.
While looking out the window, I see a familiar face walking towards a car.
"Stop the car" I order. The taxi comes to a halt and I grab my umbrella. I open it up while getting out of the taxi. I start to run over to the person. I take a big breath in while being only a few feet from them.
"Alex!" I call out. I see him turn around and look at me.
"I am so sorry for what happened last night" I cry out.
"Don't worry, I understand. It wasn't the best first introduction but definitely memorable." He smiles awkwardly.
"At least you're more forgiving than others." I say trying to not show too much hurt in my eyes.
"I'm sorry about that. I hope you know that Clay really cares about you a lot. Everytime we talk, he is always talking about you. Just give him some space for awhile." He tells me.
"Thank you, it means a lot to hear some positivity." I sigh going in for a hug.
We hug for a few seconds before I hear a honk from the taxi.
"Well I need to go, but once again, I'm very sorry."
"Don't stress it." He says.
I wave goodbye and run back to the taxi. I close the umbrella when getting in the car.
"You ready?" The driver asks.
I nod while they begin to drive towards the airport. The sun started to shine again and I had a small chance of hope that things would get better.
