Chapter 6

The second phase consisted of finding and cooking pigs. We found the pigs and cooked them but when applicants started presenting their plaits to the examiner who's name is Menchi, she rejected all of them. By the time I was going to present her my plate she said that she was full therefore the exam was over and nobody passed.

"are you fucking serious i didn't even presented my plate" I mumbled.

Before I could say another word a voice came through an airship above us.

"Well that said, it seems a bit excessive to fail every single applicant" then someone jumped from the airship and landed in front of us making a huge cloud of dirt.

I cover my eyes with my forearm so the sand wouldn't get in them, "shit".

An applicant spoke before anyone else could "hey wait who's the old man"

Menchi walked forward and said "He is the head of the exam committee, and he is responsible for the hunter exam. Chairman Netero"

"ohh I just work behind the scenes is not all that impressive, I only intervene in the exam when little issues like this one pop up. Now dear Menchi" the man who came flying down the airship said.

"Sir"

"it's come to my attention that you've chosen to fail all of this years applicants, reason being as I understand it their general reluctance to challenge the unknown" the Chairman stated.

"No, i'm sorry sir but I snapped when a candidate insulted gourmet hunters, and I'm afraid I made the exam harder than necessary" Menchi said lowering her head.

"I see, but it seems your aware that this exam was completely unacceptable"

They kept discussing what they were going to do and chairman decided that the applicants should retake the second phase, and that menchi needed to participate with the candidates.

"we will all be making boiled eggs" she said with a huge smile on her face "chairman since I see you brought your airship, would you mind taking us all to split mountain"

"split mountain?, oh I see yes of course".

*Time skip*

We were standing at the edge of the ravine in the middle on the mountain.

ohh split mountain I get it.

"Hey wait a minute do you mean-" an applicant said, before he could finish menchi interrupted"you bet i do" and jumped, falling down and hanging on the web. She waited for a minute before dropping down and grabbing an egg in the process. That's when an updraft pushed her up and she landed back on top of the mountain.

Now that is badass

"there, now I just need to boil it and i'll be set"

"i've been waiting for something like this" gon exclaimed, I didn't even wait for another word and jumped with gon, killua and the others down the ravine.

Holding onto the web while waiting for Gons signal, after Gon gave the signal to jump we all grabbed an egg and the updraft brought us all back up.

We boiled the eggs and began eating them and man the eggs were so good. (🔅)

After we entered the ship again,  chairman Netero leaded all the remaining applicants to a room, and started introducing himself. "We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning at 8 am exactly, you'll find dinner waiting for you in the dining hall, your also welcome to get some rest of course, your free to do as you please until we contact you" Bean says, "man i'm hungry and tired" i said yawning "Gaby lets go to the dinning hall and get something to eat, also we have some things to discuss" i grabbed her forearm and yeeted out of the room with her "UR GOING TO BREAK MY FUCKING ARM BITCH SLOW DOWNN!!!" she screamed at me, i looked at her and smiled "awww im sorry, DOES IT LOOK LIKE I GIVE A FUCK" i screamed at her while i dragged her down the hallway "you guys are so childish sometimes" illumi says walking our way, Hisoka next to him "shut up" we both said in unison,i let go of gaby's hand and she rubbed the bruise i left on her "sorry" i said while rubbing the back of my neck, hisoka started chuckling "what are you laughing abt clown!?" i say with an irk mark on my forehead "oh nothing~" he said with a smirk on his face, gaby looked at hisoka and her face lit up but quickly turned dark "hisoka you left me behind u bitch" she shot hisoka a death stare "sorry, i was just so captivated by this one here~, power just oozes out of her~" he moaned and licked his lip "okay okay im questioning ur senses in friends of you two" i pointed at illumi and gaby "anyways, lest go to a private room we have stuff to discuss"
