Chapter 5 (🔅)

When everyone was out of the tunnel the door closed behind us leaving behind a contestant that was crawling his way up screaming "don't leave me".

The examiner started explaining how the swamp that we were about to enter was really dangerous and all the creatures inside it.

"pfft is he messing with us if we know they'll try to deceive us who's going to fall for it"leorio said.

A man that came from the side of the tunnel interrupted "Don't fall for it"

"listen didn't I just say that we won't"leorio barks back.

The man kept saying how he was the real examiner and that Satoz was an impostor. I yawned out of boredness it was obvious that the man was lying, his aura wasn't even close to being as strong as Satoz, anyone that sensed this knew that he was lying.

"this is boring" I whisper to gaby "yeah i'm going to look for my bestie"

I pout "is not fair you don't call me 'bestie'" I whined in a whisper "oh shut up and come with me" she said as she grabbed my arm.

We didn't even moved when 3 cards came flying by us and stabbed the man that was making the whole show. Gaby looked at where the cards came from and her face lit up "found him" I follow her gaze only to find that stupid clown??? he was her 'bestie'.

I looked at gaby irritated but before I could say anything the examiner talked "Now letsbegin!"

I looked back at gaby and she shrugged "gaby were going to talk about this later" with that we started following the examiner into the swamp.

After a while of running through the swamp, we've had already lost kurapika and leorio far back. Gon, Killua, Gaby, and I were running together in the front. I was a little worried for Leorio and Kurapika. I haven't known them for long but I certainly found them really interesting. And i notice Gaby started to like them too.

Gon stopped to wait for the boys that were behind "Gon forget about them we need to keep moving"

Killua was right but I was worried for them my self too so I said "Gaby go on with killua I'll accompany Gon and wait for them. I promise we will catch with you guys later" Gaby knowing full well that I was capable of fulfilling my promise agreed and ran ahead with Kill.

"come on they are taking long let's look for them" Gon said as he starts running back from where we came from.

"ok" I responded while I started following him.

"You go that way i'll go this way so we can cover more ground, and don't get lost" I warned, he started running in another direction.

I was running back to look for Gon since I didn't find Leorio and/or Kurapika anywhere neither I sensed them. I started sensing a group of people of like 3 or 4 and went their direction. I came to and opening and there was, Hisoka choking Gon, and leorio was on the grass passed out.

Without thinking I let out my blood lust which made Hisoka drop Gon instantly. I didn't know the boy for too long but I already cared about him, seeing as how killua is slowly taking a liking to him. Me too he was just such a happy kid every time I see his smile is so contagious that it makes me want to smile.

I appeared behind Hisoka and quickly put a pocketknife to his neck "careful hisoka, I don't want you killing my friend here" I whisper in his ear.

This mans aura was just as strong as Illumis maybe even stronger, it was intimidating for other people, but since i was always surrounded by strong auras it wasn't that bad and i was used to them.

He moaned and said "oh dear look at who we have here~, 
I didn't think an assassin like your self would have friends~"

Illumi must have told him already about my identity "and I didn't think a creep like you would have neither" we stayed in that position I can just slice his neck in an instant "oh so you've met Gaby already~".

I sighed "let's talk about why you're leaving your self so vulnerable right now Hisoka" he chuckled.

"oh because you cant kill me~"

"oh confident aren't we, what makes you say that" I dont think he realizes the position he is in right now. I have complete control over his life right this instant.

"oh no you misunderstood me dear~ I'm quite aware you're powerful, but you cannot kill me simply because I have a contract with ur brother~" He purred out.

Did he just say he had a contract with MY brother??

"what are you talking about Hisoka?" I asked desperate for an answer.

"Don't worry~, I'm sure Illumi will tell you soon, now can you please take your knife away  Darling~"

I took the knife away irritated at my lack of knowledge "stop calling me that Hisoka"

He ignored my comment "you sure are very interesting, and certainly a delicious ripe fruit ready for me to pluck~" he licked his lips. I visibly cringed at his weird comment. I didn't think he could get any weirder. Did he had a kink for fruits?

"I swear to god hisoka your so freaking wierd, just-"

I got interrupted by the noice of the walkie-talkie ringing. Hisoka reached for it.

"Hisoka you should get back here we've almost reached the side of the second phase" I heard Illumis voice come through the walkie-talkie. Hisoka looked at me, smiles innocently and looks back at the walkie-talkie.

"Okay be right there~" he said.

"you know brother I'm beginning to think that you don't care about me" I whined loud enough for him to hear.

"you know you don't need my help" He said cutting the line.
Hisoka puts it back in his pocket.

"How rude I wasn't done talking" He shrugged and walked to leorio who was still passed out on the floor.

"Don't worry I won't kill him, I'll just take him to the next phase~"

"I'm sure you both can find your own way back~" he then slowly disappeared into the fog carrying leorio.

I squatted next to Gon "hey are you ok" gon was breathing heavily. I could hear his shaky breath. He did almost just died a minute ago.

I stood up and helped him get up "thanks Inaki" I just nodded and said "now let's go we need to look for kurapika".We then started walking.

"hey are you guys alright" Kurapika said walking our way. We both nodded.

"follow me guys I can track leorios cologne down and follow it so we can find our way" Gon exclaimed while moving his nose side to side with his fingers.

"You can really track down leorio by his cologne, that's impressive" kurapika said.

We arrived at the site for phase 2 just in time. One minute later than that and we would've been disqualified.

Gon and kurapika started looking for leorio, but i went to look for killua and gaby. When I found them they were talking to each other.

"hey inaki you made it" killua started walking up to me and at his side was gaby "hey where's gon?" killua asks.

I pointed at where they were and we started walking over there. We talked for a while until the examiner started to talk again "excellent work everyone, the second phase will take place here, so I shall now take my leave. I wish you all the very best of luck" he then started walking away. Then we started the 2nd phase.
