Chapter 1 (🔅)

The sound of my alarm woke me up. I look at it and it marked 5 am right I have to train with grandpa today.

I lift my self up the bed and turn off my alarm. Immediately I hear someone knock on my door really hard.

"Illumi you'll break the damn door if you bang on it so hard!"

Illumi walked in rubbing the sleep off of his eyes "what the hell today is my free day and I can finally sleep in. That alarm of yours woke me up!" he complained.

I rolled my eyes at him and said in annoyance "Ok? what do you want me to do about it. Just plug you big ears and go back to sleep"

Illumi looked at me with his big black eyes suddenly remembering something "Actually, Father told me yesterday to tell you that we needed to meet him in his office at 6 after dinner"

I looked at him confused, why would dad want to talk to us in our free day what's so important that it can't wait till tomorrow?

"Did he tell you why?" I said looking at him confused

"No, and also to not be late that it was important" He said, I sighed "Fine, now if you don't mind GET OUT" I smiled at him innocently while he just rolled his eyes and walked out.

I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Since I was going to train I decided to not take a shower now and take it after I was done training with grandpa Zeno. I put my hair up in a high ponytail leaving my spiky bangs out and some long hairs at the side. I took off my pj's that were just a gray cropped shirt and some orange booty shorts and threw them in the hamper. After walking back to my room and entering my walk-in closet I put on a white tank top and some gray cargo pants. I took my combat black boots and put them on, and finally I took my fingerless gloves and slid them on.

I headed out to look for grandpa Zeno and eat breakfast while I was at it. I walked down the long dark hallway and saw that grandpa was heading my way with his hands on his back and an annoyed look on his face. 

Shit he's going to kill me one of these days if I keep getting late to my trainings with him.

"Aelle!! don't you know you are very late, you know well that I despise when your late to my trainings young lady"

I brought my hand up and rubbed the back of my neck "sorry grandpa I-"I was going to say that illumi was the reason why I was late but I was interrupted

"No excuses for you being late, you will not get breakfast and will go straight to training"

"But-"

"No "buts", now let us go" we started walking out of the house and into the forest to the area that we always train in.

*Time Skip*

I was panting with my hands on my knees. We've been training the whole day and it was now 4 pm. Oh did I mentioned I HAVEN'T EATEN ANYTHING not like I can't handle it but damn was I hungry.

Grandpa Zeno turned to me and said smiling "You did good today Aelle, training is done for today" he then walked towards me and placed his hand on my shoulder "You're very talented and powerful Aelle, you have a lot of potential... more than you imagine" with that he disappeared.

I walked back to the house, I was so sticky and smelly from the training I needed a long, warm, and relaxing shower.

I walked into my room and quickly entered my big bathroom. I took off my training clothes and threw the clothes in the hamper I took my hair out of the ponytail that I did earlier and quickly got in the shower.

I got out of the shower, steam was coming out as I opened the glass door, I wrapped a towel around my body, and started brushing my now wet hair. I exited the bathroom and changed since I was just gonna eat dinner and after talk to dad. I put on a black tank top and some gray sweatpants.

I exited my room and walked into my brother's room without knocking which always annoys Illumi *evilly smirks*.

"Hey fish eye whore are you here?" I chirped.

I heard a long sigh coming from the bathroom. I look to the bathroom and saw illumi walking out of it drying his hair with a towel and another wrapped around his waist. I didn't really care I mean we're twins after all. I've accidentally walked in on him naked once. That's probably why he hates when I barge into his room without knocking.

"How many times have I told you to knock on my door squirt" he said annoyed and rolling his eyes.

"Huh? did you say some?" I said while cleaning my ear with my pinky.

"Anyways hurry up and get ready I'm hungry, it's already 5:20 and I wanna eat something before going to fathers office" I said while crossing my arms

"fine" he replied walking into his closet and changing afterwards. Later we head out to the dining room.

We both walked into the dining room. Father sat at the head of the table, mom at the side of the table next to him and Kalluto next to her. Milluki and Killua weren't there I mean Milluki never is because he always eats in his room, and Killua doesn't like eating with the others but he always is here to eat with me.

That's weird why isn't he here?

we took a seat next to each other and started eating silently since Father always says:

'Do not talk while everyone is eating'

It's like a "rule" if you put it like that. We all finished eating, me and Illumi walked out of the dining room and headed towards Fathers office.

We entered his office and he was sitting on his sofa. Illumi and I walked in

"I have summoned you here because I need you both to watch over Killua"

what? what does he mean?

"You see he ran off yesterday and stabbed Milluki and your mother in the process" oh shit I mean I'm not surprised I would have done that too if I had the chance when I was his age, the kid is being forced to live a life of hell.

"let him be for a while but keep him in your sight" he cleared his throat and continued "you are dismissed"

We started to walk to the door when dad said "And also, take the hunter exam you'll need the license for a job"

We both nodded and headed out. When we closed the door I let out a long sigh illumi looked at me with no emotion and said "Let's go we got to make our bags"
