Chapter 8

"What is this place?" "there's nothing here" applicants were saying all around me, we were standing on top of a really tall building, i walk to the edge trying to get a better idea of how high up we where, oh shit i can nearly see the bottom, "Ehem... everyone this is the site of the hunter exams 3rd phase, you'll be competing here at the top of trick tower" bean said, trick tower huh?, "in oder to pass this phase you must reach the base of the tower alive, the time limit is 72 hours... and with that the exams third phase will now begin good luck each and every one of you" soo we have to get down this tower in 72 hours huh?, thats seems easier said than done, i sigh, i look around trying to find gaby and illumi but they where nowhere to be found, what the hell where are they?, i started walking around until i spotted gon and killua squatting down knocking on a floor tile, i started heading their way "hey boys what are you do- shiiiiitt" i scream while falling down through one of the floortiles, i fell on my butt "what the f-" "my my i guess the group is now complete~" that voice and the auras-, i open my eyes that were once close because of the fall and i see illumi, gaby, and... that son of a "no-" i said while putting my head in my hands "yes" illumi said "stfu illumi i'm fine with you two but himmmm why does it always have to be that damned clown" i whined "magician dear~" "shut up ur too creepy to be a magician so stick with clown" gaby started laughing resting a hand on hisokas shoulder "pffft hahaha- she's got a point there" hisoka was frowning with his eyes close, i stand up and look around the room i spotted a table with 4 wrist bands on it "he guys look at this" i said while walking towards the table "yeah we were waiting for one more person to join since it's a four member path or whatever he said i wasn't really paying that much attention" gaby said with crossed arms "i wonder why" i knew she had a headache since she and illumi were drinking this morning, i sigh "here put them on let's get this over with" i said while handing the wristbands to gaby and illu, we 3 put the bands on but hisoka stood there with his arms crossed "hisoka hurry tf up and put the wrist band on" i said annoyed "but you haven't given it to me yet~" "seriously?", i grabbed the wristband a threw it to him as hard as possible hoping it would hit his face but he catches it before it reached, i rolled my eyes at him "thank you darling~" i huffed "now that there's 4 of you, you may begin" a voice sounded through a speaker, quickly a door started opening.

*Time skip*

"Urgh we been doing this for hours my head hurts like a bitch already"gaby whined, we have been answering questions and going through some really annoying mazes, "i don't think the headache is from this gaby" i said while pushing hisoka away from me again, yeah he's been teasing and annoying me this whole time, it was getting on my nerves already when he started getting in my way or walking really close to me which sometimes made me almos trip "hisokaaaa for the last time get. away. from. meeee" i said while pushing him to the side again "why are you acting so damn childish"  i said "but is so fun to tease you dear~" he said while getting in front of me "illumi i'm going to kill this son of a bitch, idc if he's your friend" illumi was in the back walking behind gaby which she was behind me "he's not my friend, he's a business partner and if you kill him i'm not facing father's wrath upon you" he said "whatever, i'm done with this bullshit" i walked behind illumi, i heard hisoka chuckle in front, i was trying to walk in front since i could answer all the questions but hisoka kept getting in front of me or kept trying to walk beside me which was really a bother because of the small hallway we were going through.

Gaby was now walking in front since hisoka let her pass, but she wasn't looking were she was walking since she was holding her head from the headache, we came to an opening which had a big stone in the middle but between the stone and the hallway was a big space, gaby kept walking forwards since she wasn't looking "GABYY" i screamed before she fell, i quickly push illumi and hisoka aside to look down, she was hanging there just floating... what?? "careful you don't want me to drop her~" hisoka said, wait, i used Gio and saw that there was a pink string attached on gaby's shoulder i followed it only to find hisoka's finger on the other end of it "bungee gum contains the properties of both rubber and gum you see~" hisoka said in a sing song voice "JUST GET HER UP YOU DUMB ASS" i yelled at him, he then flicked his finger, gaby came flying up and hisoka catches her placing her down on the floor "you didn't have to be so rough on me hisokaaa" gaby whined "well if you wouldn't have drink this morning he wouldn't have to save your dumb ass, so thank him for sav-" i stopped my self, why was i defending hisoka all of the sudden is not like i care? "unlock my handcuffs they are here" a deep voice came through the other side of the room if you can call it that "ladies and gentlemen let me explain, you might already notice that prisoners of the trick tower are standing before you, well now they're hired as examiners, in this phase you'll be fighting against all four of them to a death-match or the one who surrenders first, the fights will be one on one with each person fighting only once, to be declared the winner you must at least win 3 matches though all of you will have to fight no matter what, i wish you all good look" the voice in the speaker said, i look at the prisoners, this is going to be easy none of them had a strong aura "you can decide which of you will fight me first" the prisoner said, he was big and had a lot of muscles he had green messy hair and brown eyes "Gittarakur" i push illumi forward "you go" i said, a long stone tile emerged through the space connecting the big stone with the hallway, illumi walked forward, he was standing now face to face with the prisoner "begin" not even a second after the speaker talked illumi had already killed the prisoner with his pins, boring, "first win goes to the applicants" the speaker announced, illumi walked back looking at one of his pins "that was boring bother i thought you would make it a lil fun you know with a lil torture" i whisper so only the 3 of them could hear, "my i guess i'll give it a try~" hisoka said while walking forward.
