"Surely you don't mean that." Your voice started to shutter at those words, but Akito just looks up at you, calm and collective, "I don't lie y/n. Of course that includes Hatori and Kureno; the rest of the zodiacs act as if they don't need me and to be perfectly honest I don't care for them half as much as I do for you. You're always here for me, you only want to see me happy, yes?" You nod in response, "then, you and those two are all I need. As long as you stay by my side forever-" you cut him off, "without hesitation. You may need not tell me my lord. It's mandatory and I take great pleasure in being a reliable source for you Akito." He seem stunned for a moment, and then you realise... that is the first time you had ever actually said his name to him.

"Say it again." He demanded

"I said I take g-"

"No, not that. Say my name, y/n."

You were puzzled by his request, but either way you followed through with it.

"Akito."

The face he pulled was like that of a child who'd received a gift on an occasion. He pulled you back into his embrace and you sat there ina tight heart-felt hug for a while. Until Akito smoothly pulled away and asked if you would spend the night with him, which of course you happily accepted. Being able to sleep in Akito's room with him is a treasure of its own, not to mention a extremely rare occasion. You lay there as he spread his frail body across yours, playing with his hair as you both drifted into a deep sleep.

You wake up in the morning with a sleeping Akito next to you. You had 5 minutes before Hatori was coming to wake him up and so you hurry to collect your thing and try to rush out the door before you hear a sleepy Akito call out, "did I order you to leave?" You turn slowly to face him. "I didn't think you'd want me here by the time you woke." Followed with a smile, "Also, Hatori will be coming to give you your meds soon." Akito glares at you displeased with your answer. "I don't care. Come!" You relentlessly place down your stuff and stride over to Akito's bed as he pulls you in and folds back into your recent position. "Hatori went out, I've already had my medication." He says.
"Okay." You respond, burying your head on top of his silk smooth hair. Akito clearly wasn't done with your previous conversation though.
"Why would you think I didn't want you here?" He says, sounding slightly unsettled.
"Well, I just thought you wouldn't want to wake up to me. I didn't know exactly what mood you were in and I didn't want to be a nuisance of any sort."

"I thought I told you," he's now sat up, staring directly into your eyes, "you're all I need, so unless I tell you to leave, don't leave me." He sounded so sincere and desperate at that moment you couldn't help but smile, "of course, my apologies Akito." He smiled at you using his name then continued to pull you in close.

A couple weeks had gone by and Akito was a lot more.. 'friendly' towards you. Of course you were living every moment of it but you knew deep down it's not something to get used to. Akito is as fickle as they come, his mood changing faster than the weather in Atlanta.

Parents/teacher talk on student careers day was approaching fast which seemed a big problem for you as you had no parents. Your father had abandoned you once he discovered you were a part of the zodiacs and you mother was an abusive drunk. Hatori has practically raised you since you left your aunts at the age of 9 to go to the main estate, obviously around Akito's needs as well, which he went out of his way to do since he was only slightly young himself. For that, you were very grateful to him. You saw him as an older brother to you, yet you both seemed to share a very strange cold-yet-caring relationship. With all that in mind, you didn't want to burden Hatori with having to take part in this ridiculous event, yet it was frowned upon to not attend these gatherings in Japan.

"Y/n." You were suddenly stole from your train of thought. Hatori the man himself was cooking breakfast for you, rare occasion of course. "My bad. Just lost in thought." You abruptly replied. "Mind sharing?" He questioned. You were adamant on him not finding out. "Just school work and other unnecessary things like that. No need to worry." You let loose a plastic smile.
"Alright then. What are you planning to do about the upcoming parent/teacher careers day talk?"
