One-sided love/ Akito x reader

chapter 7~

A couple weeks past and you're used to school now. Besides the lecture you get off Akito every morning, but any type of attention is still attention, right? You walk with the two circus clowns everyday and you've become a lot more chatty because you don't want a relapse of what happened on your first day. Oh lord, everyone was starting to think Akito's cruel ways got to you. That would never happen.

Tooru and you became good friends, fickle friends that is. She didn't know that though. The others got used to having you around full-time to, that's good. You observed them closely but quietly so they didn't notice, they already had there conspiracies and you didn't plan on confirming them any time soon.

Lunch time! great! as you're walking to the others you encounter her majesty in the flesh talking to Yuki about what seems interesting information. Baring that thought in mind, you make a split-second decision and listen in whilst checking no one was observing you. "Oh, miss Honda! its nothing to concern yourself with. Just lost track in thought." Dang it! you missed it! you jump out and greet them. Not making it obvious you were listening in. You all headed off to lunch.

Kyo also seemed locked into his thoughts, must be about New Years. The family gathering was coming up and no one other than you and the elders were too happy about seeing Akito. This will shut him up a bit, its valuable, I guess? You snapped out of thought before anyone saw. God forbid Honda started quizzing you too!

You finish the day peacefully and head back to the Sohma estate. "Akito my love, I've got information!" He was NOT in a good mood. "Don't you dare address me like that! Now, tell me what you have found out before I teach you a lesson in discipline." That comment got you excited. "Both Yuki and Kyo seem awfully nervous about new years. Today they were off in mind, little brat didn't know what to do with herself. Pitiful." He cracks up with a chuckle before quickly responding, "I see Yuki is still frightened of the sight of me, I get that. Why that monster though? He's not coming to the ceremony." you shrug, "maybe that's the point, maybe he feels left out. Either that or he's terrified he wont leave." Akito looked at you, starry eyed. "What do you mean by that, y/n?" you start to giggle, "Well we all know he's going to get bound by bolt and key at some point, maybe he thinks you're planning to seal him away." Akito starts to smile, "Do you really think so?" You nod. "interesting," He sends you away shortly after and you start to change out of your uniform, getting ready to take a walk.

You return home quite late, losing track of time whilst you were out. Akito greets you at the door. oops, you had really done it this time. Leaning your face towards him slightly ready for the slap you were intensely expecting. "What are you doing?" Well then, that's disappointing. "Getting ready to feel your wrath after I missed curfew." Akito scours at you, "Forget that, I don't really care. Come!" Excuse me!? "Well if you don't care about my wellbeing maybe I'll go out for another hour or two, see how true you are to those claims of yours!" SMACK! there it was. "Are you satisfied now? You know I didn't mean it like that, and if you ever skip curfew again you'll be sleeping with my birds in that tree. Now stop being a clever brat and come with me."

You enter Akito's room, he starts to discuss with you all about Yuki's nerves and Kyo's overwhelming fear of being caged up. You laugh along to keep him satisfied and in all honesty, you're really enjoying seeing the gleam in his eyes and his beaming smile as he talks so evilly. "Damn, I wish you got this excited about me." you sarcastically choked. "Jealous?" Akito's ridiculing comment caught you off guard. Whoa, he is really hyped up. "Maybe a little, that doesn't interest you in the slightest though, I'm aware of that much." You proclaimed, half joking. "You know me all too well." That hurt a little. He can't know that though. As soon as Akito finds a crack in your armour, it's over for you. Although, your only weakness is him. Everyone knew that but him, actually. Funny when you think about it. You continue talking and evilly plotting together before he kicks you out and sets off to sleep. You stay awake, listening to music through your headphones, grateful of the time you had spent together yet in envy of how you showed little importance in his life unlike the others.

Authors note: I just want to say I have acknowledged that I've spelt Tohru's name wrong but in all honesty I really cannot be bothered to go back through the chapters and change every mistake so please just bare with it and ignore it if you can. I apologise. Hope you enjoyed this chapter! (:
