The same day, a few hours before...

Neil's POV-

"Good morning, sunshine. Sunshine." Oh, please. Not this again.

Record scratch.

"Get the hell up, idiot. We have class in 30 minutes," Arjun slams a pillow on my butt as I throw one back at him. "Can you be quiet? I'm trying to get some sleep here," I squirm as I turn onto my stomach and stuff my face inside my pillow.

"Nope. I'm going to keep going torturing you until you get up," he declares lazily as he continues slamming pillows on me. Pretty painfully, actually.

"I hate you," I finally get up and make my bed before I put on a shirt and go to the bathroom.

"You wouldn't survive here without me, bub," he smirks as he brushes his teeth while I finish my business and start brushing mine too.

"I think I can," I retort as I finish brushing my teeth and comb my hair a bit.

"Remember biology? Mutual relationship? Yeah, that's what we have. Remember that," he concludes as he cleans up his mouth and goes back inside his dorm room to change.

So as you guys can tell, things are a bit different now. This isn't high school, anymore. It's college now. Like actual college.

Yeah, now that I think about it, college makes high school look like a joke.

High school ended up finishing pretty smoothly. I performed at my final orchestra concert, graduated as salutatorian of my class, gave a long-ass speech, had a pretty amazing graduation party at my house, moved to Austin to study Business at UT, and now I'm roomies with Juny and another guy named Drew.

I think so far, I'm doing pretty okay. In fact, we're all doing pretty okay! College is ah-ma-zing.

Anyway, let's get down to business.

Today's Thursday, which means that I have only one class today.

One. Class. Can you believe that?

High school needs to take notes.

The class I have today is Business Law at McCombs, and it's literally across the campus from where my dorm is. Because of that, Arjun has to bust my ass just for us to get to class on time. But you know me, I'm not shying away from any exercise. The last thing I want is to gain any weight.

Yes, Freshman 15. I'm talking to you.

After quickly brushing up, I go inside my room to change too. I don't want to waste any time, so I just grab a blue hoodie and a pair of grey shorts. I would dress better, but I'm too drained to dress properly today.

"Are you ready to go?" Arjun knocks on the door loudly as I change, making me roll my eyes and pry open the door as hard as I can.

"What's gotten you so worked up this morning?" he cackles as I come out of my room with my bag and my ID card.

"I was legit dreaming about being in Singapore on a sunny day, and you had to come being annoying and make it rain. That's why I'm worked up."

"It's not my fault you're so petty," he mocks me as we both put on our shoes and leave the dorm, making sure it's completely locked.

"You've dealt with it for years," I laugh as we both go down the stairs.

"I don't know how Tweet deals with you either."

"She has her ways," I scoff as we both go downstairs to leave our Residential Center.
