Hiiii, everyone! Guess what?
I'm BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER, BABY!
Jesus Christ, you're so embarrassing.
Of course, I am, what do you expect?
So for first-time readers, my name is MuMuCow, and welcome to this story! I Stand Corrected is the continuation of my first book Don't Get Me Wrong, so if you want more context so that you don't read the book looking like this, 👁👄👁, then you can go ahead and do just that!
It's pretty interesting, I'll tell you that ;)
But it's not a pre-requisite or anything, all the characters will be introduced again! So if you want to keep reading, keep reading!
For the people who have already read the first book, WELCOME BACK!
YAYAYAYAY it's so nice to see everyone again! Sorry if it took a bit long hehehe.
You may have noticed that I released not one, but two chapters! I wanted to do this so that I can introduce Neil's perspective to the story much more. Now that he and the others are in college, I think introducing his perspective along with the other older kids will help you get to know them. All of these characters are super complicated onions, and my main goal is for you guys to unpeel their layers over time!
Great, I'm hungry now. I really want a samosa chaat now that I just mentioned onions.
Okay, I'll just shut it. Sorry, I'm way too hyper about this.
See you at the end!

November 2020...
"Okay, guys. Make sure to study for the Unit 2 Test next class. The study guide and textbook pages are on Canvas! And make sure you take your phones out of the cubby," Mrs. Garrett reminds us as we all sprint out of Gov to go off to lunch.
"I need to do my AP Calc homework during lunch, dude. I stayed up all night doing my English project that I didn't even finish the last 5 problems," Vinnie clenches her teeth as she takes off her backpack and pulls out a worksheet with graphs all over it for AP Calc BC.
"You literally only have 5 questions left," I laugh while she glares at me. "5 composition questions. Which take about 10 minutes per question."
"I can help you! I mean, I know I'm in AB but I can try and see what you need," I offer her after scanning her paper for a second.
Yeah, now that I looked at it closely, I'll probably make her fail her homework instead. Yikes, this makes AB look like kindergarten math. Wow, so many graphs.
Wait, is that the letter p? Since when is the letter p used in graphs?
I hate math.
"It's ok! You don't have to, Tia. I'll be fine. But thanks for offering to help me!" she reassures me as she takes the paper away from me and looks at it frantically.
"How about I help you by rushing to the cafeteria? We have to get there before the nacho line gets too big. And you know how fast the nachos run out," I remind her, raising my eyebrows like a weirdo to get the message across.
"Last one to our lunch spot has to pay," she bets before she bolts past me, not even giving me a chance to get a headstart. Come on, I'm legit the worst runner ever. This is basically a guaranteed victory for her with all the squats and leg power she has.
"We're not 5, Vin!" I shout as I start speedwalking to catch up to her.
"Just for now, we are! And you're paying by the way," she declares while running up the stairs and reaching our spot, turning around and smirking at me trying to catch my breath.
