Amazing Love

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." [John 13:34]

Bago pa man ang cruxificxion ni Jesus, he gave us a new commandment, to love one another.

     LOVE, madaling sabihin, mahirap gawin. Di ba totoo naman ? Calling all the attention of my fellow teenagers, may mga bf/gf ba kayo ? Do you tell them you love them ? You really mean it ? Ang pasasabi ni 'I love you',masarap pakinggan, madaling ipakita. Yes! Ipakita. Through what? Through material things, sweet nothings, etc. Pero iparamdam ? Mahirap. Oo girls, binibigyan tayo ng mga boys ng kakiligan sa katawan, pero, its just that. Pero true, genuine love, hindi.

If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. [1 Corinthians 13:3]

    Love is very essential in everyone's lives.

Do everything on love. [1 Cor. 16:14]

     Because if we have love, we can conquer all things, we can do everything beautiful.

   Just like when God created the world, he created us with love.. That's why we are all beautiful.

What is Love ?

     And now I will show you the most excellent way. [1Cor. 12:31]

   Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. [1Cor. 13:4-5]

      Think of a person who gives you love like this...

      Your bf/gf, husband/wife ?? No, the love that they're giving you is just an Eros or Erotic love-- a fundamental creative impulse having a sensual element.

   How about your parents ?? The love they're giving you is Filial Love-- appropriate for a son or daughter.

The fact is, they can't give you a love like this. For an instance, to the couples, or sometimes even parents, there are incidences na pag nagkakaaway or nagkakagalit kayo, binabalik nila yung mga pagkakamaling nagawa mo noon, di ba nga sabi Love keeps no record of wrongs. [see v.5]

   Only God's  AGAPE--also known as Unconditional Love -- can give us a love like this.

     Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. [v.6-7]

   God forgives, patient, kind and solicitous. He protect us against all harms, trusts in us, he hopes us to run towards him and he has the perseverance to call us, never stopping calling us. God remains faithful to us, even though sometimes we are unfaithful.
[See 2 Thessalonians 3:3]

And now these three remain: faith,  hope and love. But the greatest if this is love.  [v .13 ]

We can lift one's heart with love. But we must be careful. Make sure your heart is strong enough to carry the other. Because if you are weak too, both of you will fall. [see Galatians 6:1]

For an instance, yung friend no masyadong worldly at gusto mo syang isama sa Spiritual World (Church, Bible, Jesus), pero dahil mahina pa ang faith mo, napasama ka sa kanya. Imbis na ike-carry mo sya pataas, nahila ka nya pababa. Kaya dapat maging malakas tayo.

    Encourage  your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.  [2 Thessalonians 2:17]

  Jesus' love is the most amazing love we ever had,  a life-loser and a life-giver. He lose his life in order to save us and give us life, another chance to be born again.

   Let us remember how God loves us and to obey his command: to love the others.

    But the man who loves God is known by God. [1 Cor. 8:3]

   Love the people, but don't forget to love God as well.

   Remind yourself of God's pure, divine and amazing love. And share it to the whole world !

God's love has no limits, his grace has no measure, his power has no boundaries known unto men.

PRAYER
     Oh Lord, thank you for your unconditional love. Please help me to share your love with the people. And please teach me to love them genuinely. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
