Zee was in the kitchen in his castle making some tea for his daughter, then he pulled out the bottle the sorceress gave him and poured it into the tea cup. He then placed the two cups on a tray and brought the tray with him to the next room and saw his daughter Cynder by the window.
King Zee: ah, I thought I might find you here. how about a nice cup of tea before the ball?
Cynder: I'm not going
King Zee:(scoffs) what? But the whole kingdom has come to celebrate your marriage, I paid good money for the food, and these celebrities weren't cheap to drag here you know?
Cynder: yeah but, there's one problem. That's not my husband
She was pointing to Gnasty Gnorc who was showing off his muscles to his fans while also throwing some gang signs.
King Zee: well he may seem different, but you know, people change for the ones they love. You'd be surprised by how much I changed for your mother heh
Cynder: "change" he's completely lost his mind!
King Zee: um why not just come to the ball and give him another chance, you might actually like this new Spyro
Cynder: but it was the old one that I fell in love with, I'd give anything to have him back
Zee had his ears lowered while Cynder was reaching for one of the cups when Zee stopped her.
King Zee: ah ah that's mine sweetie(grabs the cup) it's decaf, otherwise I'm up all night
Cynder then grabs the other cup and takes a sip from it.
Cynder: thanks
Zee then smiled for a little bit but then that smile turned into a frown. Meanwhile Spyro and his friends were waiting all day for their friends to come here.
Spyro: what's taking them so long?
Sparx: I'm sure they're just lost or something
Hunter: are you forgetting the monumental length between where you live and where we are now? It's gonna take them days to get here so there's no point in waiting!
Spyro: yeah you're probably right, might as well—
Flame: Sparx? Spyro?
Spyro: yes, it's me or at least on the inside
Agent 9: you guys look different than I remembered last seeing you
Sparx: yeah we drank a potion that made us sexy, and yeah. Anyways how did you guys get here so fast?
Sheila: we took the shortcut to far far really far away
Spyro: so wait, you're telling me there was a shortcut to get here this whole fricken time?!
Flame: yeah, didn't you notice that?
Sparx: I noticed that
Spyro: I hate you Sparx!
Sparx: yeah I know but no matter how much you hate me there's always room for love in that huge fat gut of yours
Byrd: so what's the problem?
Spyro: a sorceress is trying to hook my wife with some ugly ogre!
Flame: that's terrible
Byrd: what do you want us to do
Hunter: we need your help storming the castle to get in
Byrd:(salutes)we'll gladly be of service commander
