Babysitting

I looked up and meet the gazes of a blonde headed 5year old boy and a brown headed 4year old girl.

The girl stepped forward in her pink one piece and floaties.

"Hi, I'm Hannah, and this is Chris. Your Danny's wife and I was wondering if he could swim with you because you look nice." She said really fast.

"Well I'm not sure where Danny is but hop in we can play a game if you want." I said.

They both nodded eagerly and Chris blushed, they both jumped in with a splash and swam toward me.

"Let's play shark attack!" Chris shouted.

"Or red rover!" Hannah shouted.

"Which one guy?" I asked already feeling the stress of babysitting.

"Shark attack!" They yelled giggling.

I laughed and agreed to be the shark then I went under water and picked them both up.

They screamed while a pretending to almost drop them and then swoop then low around the water.

"Laura lets play airplanes!" Hannah yelled.

Chris nodded happily in agreement. At least I would get a good work out from this.

I felt an arm pull my into a hug and closed my eyes at the familiar warmth.

"So you like Hannah and Chris?" Daniel asked.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Your kids?" I questioned.

"Oh no I've never had kids, these are my aunt's children. They come out here once in a while." He said.

Chris walked up to Daniel and tapped him.

"Danny, Luara was playing airplanes with us. Can she still play with us?" He asked.

"Yes I can." I said as I picked him up and made airplane noises making him giggle.

Hannah swam closer to me and stared up at Daniel.

"Hannah? Chris?" Rose called out.

"Over here." I yelled.

I placed Chris back in the water and got out of the pool.

"They came out here about an hour ago and I've been keeping an eye on them." I said.

"Thank you Laura I've been looking every where for them." She said.

"Not to worry there in good hands, I've always had fun with kids." I said.

Ross nodded happily and went on with her business.

I got Chris and Hannah out of the water and dried them off.

"Let's play hide and seek." Hannah said.

"Not unless each of you has either me or Danny next to you." I said.

They gave each other stares then laughed and took off down the side of the pool.

"Hey! Stop right there you two are going to be in big trouble when I get my hands on you!" I yelled.

Daniel looked up from the game he was playing on his phone.

"Need my help yet?" He asked.

"No,not yet." I replied.

I took off right behind them.

So really short chapter I know but it's almost 11 I'm really tired and I just wanted to fit one more chapter in.
