Marry me?

Daniel and I walked out of the playroom after cleaning up the place.

We went back to our room and I changed into a red halter sun dress and red flats. I pulled my hair up since it was still curled.

When I came out Daniel grabbed my hand and lead me to the garage. Sports cars lined the walls with keys laying neatly on the hood.

"Pick one." He said smiling.

I bit my lip, I was choosing between the black Porsche and the red Jaguar.

"The Porsche." I said.

He grabbed the keys and in one swift movement opened the door for me.

"What a gentleman!" I said.

Daniel shook his head smiling and got in the driver's seat. We peeled out of the long curved drive way and headed toward town.

"Spain is so beautiful." I said staring out the window.

"Indeed, most vampires live here because of it's beauty." He said lost in thought.

"My grandmother always told me stories of Spaniards she had met all over the world when she was younger, she said they were brave and outgoing, big hearted too." I said smiling at the memory of my grandmother.

"We're here." He said pulling on to a beach.

The water was sparking with the sun set hitting off of it and untouched sand.

We got out of the car and I took off my shoes and carried them. The sand felt soothing to my feet. As we walked closer to the water I daydreamed of walking by the water together with Daniel, forever.

I was taken out of my day dream when I felt a smooth stone being placed in my hand.

"Have you ever skipped rocks?" He asked.

"I've watched many times but no." I said frowning.

He wrapped his arms around me from behind and entwined his arm with mine. He showed me how to place my arm and snap my wrist.

He tried one with my hand and the rock skipping high in the water 4 times then drop with a ploop.

"Now you give it a shot." He said.

I ran my hand over the smooth stone. I pulled my arm back and snapped my wrist and the stone skipped at least 7 times.

"Wow I did it." I said smiling.

"I knew you would." He said stepping closer to me. He wrapped his strong arms around me and kissed my forehead.

"I love you Laura." He said.

"I love you too Daniel." I said, once the words were out of my mouth it felt like I was suddenly lighter than before.

I felt Daniel's eyes on me and met his gaze. He slowly got down on one knee and pulled out a blue silk box.

I sucked in my breath.

"Laura would you make me the most happiest man alive and become a part of my life for the rest of eternity, will you marry me?" He asked staring into my eyes.

I stared at the open box, the diamond was beautiful but I didn't care about that, everything about Daniel had already told me that he would care for me forever no matter my answer.

I nodded my head repeatedly.

"Yes!" I screamed.

His face lit up with joy as he got up and picked me up and spun me around.

He put me down and placed the ring on my finger.

"You said yes." He whispered, tears filled his eyes.

"What's wrong Danny?" I asked concern filled my voice.

"Not once in my life did I think I would ever be able to get a girl as amazing as you." He said.

I grabbed his face and smashed his lips to mine.

"I will never leave your side Daniel I promise." I said. I knew he thought I would find someone else and leave him but that was never going to happen.

He smiled and picked me up bridal style as I giggled.

We drove home the whole time Daniel wouldn't shut up about me saying yes.

"Your the best Laura." He said one last time as we pulled in the drive way.

"Shut up Danny." I said blushing for the 20th time.

We got to our room and I changed into a pair of Daniel's sweats and a tank top.

I climbed into bed and fell asleep in Daniel's arms.
