A Girl's Night Out Gone Wrong

We started running when we heard Daniel behind us.

"Ann I swear to God if if you take her where I think you are your going to get murdered!" Daniel roared.

I looked back and giggled, Daniel was baring his fangs like he would actually use them.

Ann and I moved back the curtains from one of the curtains, the drop was at least 5 floors.

"Ok trust me Luara, you'll be fine if you close your eyes. Do you understand?" Ann asked.

I looked down at the drop Daniel was only about a yard away from us.

"Let's go!" I shouted.

With a brush of bravery that I thought I'd never have, I closed my eyes and jumped.

Ann has always been annoying but taking my mate without asking was just stupid. She knew that I would hurt her.

I tried running with my vampire speed but all I couldn't since I hadn't fed in a while.

They reached the blood red curtain and Ann moved it back, to my horror there was a window that lead to the dropping of 5 stories.

Of course Ann was going to be dead but at least she was going to use her powers to make sure Luara had a soft ride.

But Ann was suppose to go first, not Luara.

Ann gasped and jumped out as fast as she could, I pushed my speed towards the window. I reached it too late.

The wind felt amazing on my skin.

It was the rush of the wind against my face that made me snap back to reality.

I heard Ann scream and jump out.

I looked down, everything was in slow motion. I flipped my body over and saw Ann only a few feet away from me.

"Luara hold out your arms!" She screamed. I had to listen closely so that the wind didn't drown her out.

I stretched my arms out to full length and Ann's soft hands grasped mine.

She pulled me up and held me close to her warm body.

We landed with a soft thud on the ground. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Come on, we don't have time to stand here Count Dracula is behind us." Ann grabbed my hand and we dashed into the forest.

The trees swayed at the light breeze passing though. I shivered at the cold.

"Alright here's the plan, you go north till you see a bright red building, I'm going to go the opposite way to throw Daniel off." Ann spoke fast and took off down the dark path.

I started the direction she had pointed and looked around. About 4 miles out there was a shining light, I couldn't tell what it was but I picked up my pace towards it. My legs took long strides as I picked up the pace, might as I picked up my pace.

The building was now in my clear line of view, it was bright red and had a movie theater design to it.

I was just about to slow down when I heard foot steps behind me.

I spirited down the trail, not looking back I had a strange feeling it was Daniel but I didn't have time to look back.

Then everything went black, I was on the ground a man in all black was on top of me, he had a syringe in his hand and was picking up my wrist.

I screamed and thrashed around, he pinned me down and then I saw them. His fangs were barred and he bit down hard on my neck.

The pain was unbearable, it felt like he was biting into my heart and draining me lifeless.

I blacked out.
