I loved writing this.
And I also fell in love with Gabriel Beckett, who I will just have to write about again.
I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie and especially "Murder on the Orient Express." I thought, how can I create something similar but in a fresh new environment? SPACE of course. To my knowledge Christie never approached the sci fi genre!
Anyway, I think I've nailed the balance between making the murderer too obvious, and not obvious enough, let me know what you think (spoiler, there is a murder or two!). Without that, a "whodunnit" can't work.
Time to strap in and blast off onto the Orion Express. And don't forget to watch your back...
