The First step

But Tommy wanted to go home, so of course they had to say their goodbyes.
It was simple, Aph made a portal which would lead him back to his body spiritually.

"Make sure to not die!"

"Take care of everyone and you Tommy."

"Remember us!"

He laughed at the end, running into the portal, gods.
Again, people see them as overpowered beings who you must beg for their mercy, who have no problems and who are wise.

Wrong.

They're people like us, they have their problems, their laughs, their sad days and their friendships.

Tommy learnt something, he didn't realise it until now,

value life, you'll never know when it'll end.

"Tommy?!" A loud yet soothing voice called for him, he looked around, expecting his best friend yet there stood his own brother, Technoblade.
He was sitting on the ground, staring at Tommy and looking away sometimes when he hears a noise.

"I thought you nearly died!" Technos eyes were filled of worry, even his body seemed to shake.
Tommy looked around his surroundings. A dark oak forest, great.

Outsiders. Techno and him were the only ones there, ignoring all the...not so alive corpses.

"..w..what happened here..?" Tommy asked, sitting up. He noticed Techno with his clothes slightly ripped yet he was in perfect condition.

"..guess it spilled then huh?" Techno chuckled standing up. Tommy cautiously stood up as well, a little wobbly but better.

"..yeah." It was an awkward silence. Neither of them wanted to talk to each other right now.

"..look, if Schlatt is the bad guy, does that mean he might be the Dragon?" Tommy perked in, trying to start a conversation again.

Techno stared into his eyes, a look of softness and commitment to try talk to him was seen.
"Possibly." Techno replied roughly looking around his surroundings.

Tommy smiled slightly, at least it isn't so awkward.
Tommy remembered what the gods had said, about a bee boy. But he isn't here?

Then it struck him, sh**.

"Techno."

"Heh?"

"Is it possible that you could cover up yourself? We need to get to the city, now."

"Oh yeah we can Tommy, it's not like I'm kind of a target for all of Syldavia to kill and seem as a huge threat or anything, nope absolutely nothing out of the ordinary." Technos tone was sarcastic and glared at Tommy whilst doing this.

"Look, before I even met you I brought back up to try figure who the Dragon is. And I think they're all here...however I did promise that I would meet them at the city..."
Tommy looked at the ground, not wanting to make any eye contact with him.

He heard a sigh and looked at Techno, seems like he was considering all the options they had. Which was only two, or was there?

"Right, get your so called friends on your own. Then we meet here."
Techno placed a hand on his shoulder, determined.

"What do you mean we?! I'm going alone since you said you're a huge target and you could easily die." Tommy spluttered out, confused.

What does he mean we?! Didn't he heard himself earlier about him being the biggest target in Syldavia?!
