It has been about two years of home schooling, a little less, since they got me at age 15 and I'm 17. This was because when I was younger I lived on the streets since I was 10. I don't remember anything after that. They nice man found me after a month on my on my own eating dumpster food. He started to help me with food I would at times still eat dumpster food since he doesn't have enough money to pay for three meals a day for two people. It was nice though eating something other then dumpster food.
He would also let me stay in his RV during winter, which was really nice of him! After about 5 days of this he found a family looking to adopt since they couldn't have kids. He recommended me and... they took me in! An that's why I was home schooled, Frank didn't teach me much, so I had to catch up so I could go to school and not fail everything. Now in a week it will be my first day. I'm joining in the middle of the school year, or somewhere close to the middle.
I'm hoping to make friends but I don't think that will happen, I am very anti social you see. It doesn't help when this one girl would burst into the breakfast place, Two Whales Diner, and then stare at me the whole time that I'm there with Frank. And yes, I still hang out with frank he is like a father. Sorry to my current dad but Frank is a true father in my eyes. I do wish I knew who my real father and mother were though. Anyway me and my mom are out getting school stuff.
The school also let me set up my dorm early, on a scheduled time of day of course. Once we were done getting my school stuff we got home and mom made dinner. We started to eat and lets be honest, the food Bob and Sara my parents make, aren't any better then dumpster food. I don't mind though since I'm used to it, that's also one of the reasons why I still hang out with Frank. I also want to hang out with my father figure. He may not be the best one and, I know he isn't but, I don't care.
