Two weeks had passed, Kunimi kept walking Y/N to her house, whenever they stayed up late for practice. And Y/N thanked him by buying him some Salted Caramel (his favorite food). Which makes him fall for her even more.
They're now sitting at their final class for the day, while listening to the teacher. "So class, you're gonna have a project by pairs, but you're not allowed to choose your partners, I'm gonna choose them". The teacher said and started announcing the pairs. "Kunimi, you'll be working with Y/N". They both nodded and continued to listen. "Now, the project you'll be making is about expressing your thoughts about the real world, since today is friday, you'll have two days to make it, the submission is on monday". The teacher said, as soon as the bell rang. Y/N and Kunimi got to their locker and started talking about the project. "Where will we do it? At my house or yours?". Kunimi asked Y/N. "My house is fine". Y/N replied. Kunimi hummed in response and grabbed his shirt and kneepads. "Akira!!!". Suzuki said from behind them. "What is it?". Kunimi asked. "Can you walk me home later?". She asked Kunimi. "But, Y/N-". Kunimi said, but Y/N cut him off. "It's fine, I can walk alone". Y/N said and grabbed her tracksuit and notebook. "Are you sure?". Kunimi asked her. Y/N nodded in response and left them.
timeskipped--(6:30pm, after practice) Practice had ended, Y/N and Kunimi got outside, and they saw Suzuki waiting there. "Are you sure you're okay on walking alone?". Kunimi whispered to Y/N. "I told you, I'm fine". Y/N replied to him. "Let's go?". Suzuki asked Kunimi. "See you tomorrow". Kunimi said to Y/N, and they started walking. Y/N waited for a couple of seconds and also started walking to her house...
timeskipped--(the next day, 11:30am) Y/N and Janine had just finished eating lunch, Y/N is washing the dishes, when she heard a knock on the front door. "I'll get it". Janine said and opened the door. "Hey, Akira". Janine said to Kunimi. "Hey, is Y/N here?". Kunimi asked Janine. "Come in, I heard about the project, she's in the kitchen". Janine said and let Kunimi in. Kunimi sat on the couch while waiting for Y/N. "Hey, Akira is on the couch waiting for you". Janine said. "Oh and by the way, I also have a project with my classmate, I'm gonna get ready now". She added. Y/N nodded and Janine went upstairs to her room. A few minutes later, Y/N got to the living room. "Let's go upstairs?". Y/N asked Kunimi, He nodded and they both went upstairs to her room. When they got there they started making their project. "Do you believe in the real world?". Kunimi asked Y/N out of nowhere. "I-i, Y-yes". Y/N stuttered. "W-what about you?". She asked. "Yeah, I believed in it, ever since I was a little kid, but my mom would always say that it's just a myth". Kunimi said. "You know, I really wanted to see the real world, and real people". He added. Y/N was a bit shocked of Kunimi's behavior, he never been this talkative before, does he really wanted to see the world that I used to live in? "I even wrote a song for them". Kunimi said while smiling at Y/N. "Really??". Y/N asked. Kunimi nodded. "Can I hear it?". Y/N asked again. "You'll hear it, someday". He replied, making Y/N pout. They continued talking about the real world while doing their project.
timeskipped--(5:00pm)... Y/N and Kunimi had finished their project, They're now downstairs eating. "So, if you have a chance to access the real world for a year, what are the things that you'll do?". Y/N asked Kunimi while eating. "I don't know, I'll probably travel the world and make some friends". He replied.
"Thanks again, for inviting me here, and doing the project with me". Kunimi said to Y/N while walking to the front door. "No problem". Y/N said as they reached the door. "Hey, are you free tommorow?". Kunimi asked. "Why?". Y/N asked him. "Nothing, I'm bored, and since it's Sunday, I have nothing to do at home". Kunimi said. "Sure, what time?". Y/N asked. "I'll pick you up at 10:00am". He replied. Y/N nodded and they waved each other goodbye...
timeskipped--(7:30pm)... "So how's your day with Akira?". Janine asked Y/N. "It was fine, he actually invited me to hang out with him tomorrow". Y/N replied. "That's great, good to hear that my ship is finally sailing". Janine said smirking. "What?! It's not even a date". Y/N said and laughed awkwardly. "Okaaayyyyy". Janine teased. "But I can tell that he likes you". She added. "What? How can you tell?". Y/N asked. "Because, he's been walking you here everyday, he even texted me the other day telling me to go ahead already, so that he could walk you here". Janine replied. Y/N's face immediately turned red. "Hey, I'll just go ahead and take a shower, make sure when I get back here, your face won't be as red as a tomato". Janine said whilst getting to the shower. "Does he really like me?". Y/N asked herself, still blushing...
