Class is almost finish, Y/N and Kunimi submitted their project and both got an A+. Y/N is listening to the teacher, while Kunimi is writing something on his notebook, Y/N thought he was taking notes, but Kunimi is actually just doodling and drawing some foods. Y/N looked at his notebook, she saw a drawing of an ice cream and salted caramel, not gonna lie, she actually found it kinda cute.
10 minutes had passed and the class is over. They both walked to their locker, like they usually do every day. "Hey, do you want to get some ice cream?". Kunimi asked Y/N. She agreed since they don't have any practice on Mondays. They were about to leave but they suddenly heard Suzuki from behind them. "Akira! do you have any plans for today?". Suzuki asked. "I'm sorry Suzuki, but me and Y/N already have plans for today". Kunimi replied coldly. "Oh is that so, it's okay I'll just ask my friend". Suzuki said and turned around. Y/N and Kunimi also turned around and continued walking. Suzuki gave them a glare before walking away.
timeskipped--(4:30pm...) The two are now eating their ice cream, and talking about volleyball. "Y/N?". Kunimi called her. She hummed in response. "I'd like to take you somewhere, after this". Kunimi said. "Sure, but where?". Y/N asked him. "It's a surprise". He replied. Y/N giggled and just continued eating. A few minutes had passed and they finished eating their ice creams, They got out of the shop and got to Kunimi's car. "Wear this". Kunimi said while driving. "A blindfold? What's this for?". Y/N asked. "Just wear it, we're almost there". Kunimi said and gave Y/N a smile. She sighed and puts the blindfold on...
After 5 minutes, they arrived at their destination. "We're here". Kunimi said while getting out of the car. "Don't worry, I'll lead you". He added and opened Y/N's door. Y/N got out of the car, Kunimi holds her hand, and they started walking. A few seconds later they stopped. "Are you ready?". Kunimi asked while getting behind her. She nodded and Kunimi started taking her blindfold off. Once the blindfold was removed, Y/N slowly opened her eyes, and her jaw dropped, from the view infront of her, they were at a cliff and they've got a perfect view of the city and the sunset. "You like it?". Kunimi asked. "Y-yeah". Y/N stuttered, still amazed from the view. "Let's sit". Kunimi said and sat at the grass. Y/N also took a seat beside him. "So, how do you know this place?". Y/N asked Kunimi. "My mom used to take me here whenever I'm sad". Kunimi replied. "Ohh, It's really beautiful". Y/N said awkwardly.
'Should I confess to her, I mean it's the perfect time. But what if she reject me, this is gonna be awkward and embarrassing'. Kunimi thought to himself, as he stares at Y/N. At the end, Kunimi decided to take a risk and confess. He cleared his throat and called Y/N. "Y/N, I know this is weird, b-but". Kunimi stuttered. "But?". Y/N asked in confusion. "I like you, I've liked you since the first day, please don't freak out". Kunimi said and covered his face with both of his hands. "Kunimi". Y/N called him. He removed his hands and looked at Y/N. "I-i also like you, since last week, b-but we can't be together". Y/N mumbled. "B-but why not?". Kunimi asked, a few tears running down his cheeks. "Because I don't belong in here". Y/N said with a cold tone. "What do you mean". He asked, covering his face again. "I don't belong in this world. I know this might sound crazy, but I'm actually from the real world". Y/N said, while tearing up. "And yes, the real world true, I'm really sorry Akira, but I've only got 11 months left, and I don't want to hurt you". She added. Kunimi was shocked, Ever since he was a little kid, he always believed that the real world and real people was only just a myth. But now he's facing a real human. "Then be my girlfriend and we'll make those remaining months memorable". Kunimi suddenly said while sobbing a bit. "I'm sorry, but I think it's better if we just stay like this, it's better if we're just friends". Y/N said, she stood up and started walking away. Kunimi wiped his tears and followed her. "H-hey, let me at least drive you back home". Kunimi said, They both got back to his car, and started to drove off.
The entire ride was filled with awkward silence, they never talked or even looked at each other, but they knew that both of them are tearing up. A few minutes later they arrived at Y/N's house. Y/N got out of his car and walked away, without even saying goodbye, Kunimi took a deep breath and saw the plushie that Y/N gave him. He took it and started hugging it while crying. Meanwhile Y/N is in her room, sobbing while hugging the plushie that Kunimi gave him the other day...
