Marissa POV:
Me and Vanessa were in the, li...br...ar...y. Oh good I was afraid I couldn't say it. Library. Easier to say it fast. Anyways, we got Starbies before heading over here. I got a grande Dragon Drink and Vanessa got a grande decaf Java Chip Frappe with extra whipped cream. We sat there studying when I noticed something.
"Vanessa, why do you keep looking at River?" I asked
"I don't see anything, I don't know anything, why are asking?" She replied quickly
"Okay, it's just that you've been staring at River since we got here."
"No, I think you need glasses."
"Umm hmmm." We got back to work. A minute later I said, "I know you like him."
"Like who?" Vanessa asked, unable to meet my eyes.
"River."
"Who?" Vanessa said. We both know that I'm the best liar ever, and she's the worst.
"River White." Vanessa opened her mouth to speak. "We both know you like him."
"Fine. I do."
"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!" I screamed
"Shhh" everyone in the library shushed me while Vanessa covered her head.
"You should tell him at the party." I said
"We both know that's never gonna happen."
"We'll see." I replied. I had a plan in mind.
Vanessa POV:
I continued doing my homework, and looked over at River like, a bazillion times. Then he got up and put his stuff in his backpack. Aw man. He's leaving! He left indeed. A few minutes later, Marissa let out.
"I can't any more, I just can't!" She said dramatically.
"Fine. We can continue tomorrow."
