Two pearls

"Alex if you steal any more of my pearls I will not hesitate to kill you," I yell into the microphone, smacking her trying to get her out of my belongings. No one knows how long it'll take for her to find something else she likes.

"I walk faster. It's kinda like stonks but not," she projects back. Alex, owner of the server, gets what she wants most of the time. She has commands, which means she can threaten you with the good ol' /kill and get away with it.

We were in my house, and I was watching her purple cloud-like skin rummage through all of my chests, and I knew she was looking for the two pearls I had gathered yesterday while hunting for cows.

"Angel....where are they. I swear if you hid them-"

"EYYYYYYYYYY, MAMACITASSS," a common line made by Midnight. Midnight is another good friend of ours which still, embarrassingly enough, still has an alex skin. "Please can we talk about my boo?"

"Midnight why are you still talking about Snapnap? You understand that he is way above your league, right?" I smirk, quickly jumping on the subject so Alex forgets about the pearls.

"Angel why you gotta do me like that," Midnight grumbles, an clear taste of defeat because she knows that I am right.

.......

"OKAYYYYYY Time To Minecraft!" Clouds says trying to change the subject like I just did.

---Midnight has joined the game---

"Took you long enough. Time flies when you're trying to find someone's pearls."

Midnight spawned at the town hall, a central building made by bricks and stone. It holds virtually everything no one needs. Often times the chests are filled with string, spider eyes, and blocks from previous builds. Of course each one of us has our own chests and such but they're the ones for the whole public.

Taking a step back into reality I hear a ding, my phone notification sound.

Stomach pains for Evil are not uncommon, but they are random and even though I die inside everytime he has them I still also want to play with Alex and Midnight.

"Man I wish he could get on tonight. I built the secret place we were talking about a week ago and I wanted him to see it." Alex sighs, leaving behind a trail of sadness that anyone could follow. Honestly I felt the pain before she did, but there was nothing I could do about it. Better to leave it alone.

"Megan can you please tell Alex to get out of my house," I demand, ending the silence. I'm deliberating killing this mo-fo or giving her mercy.

"Alex, my love, please exit the house." Midnight pitches.

"One," Alex starts, "I am not your lover. Two, she's harboring pearls." She will not stop trying to find these pearls until she goes to sleep, and even then I ponder over her dreaming of the possibilities of where they may or may not be.

"Well midnight... You do know that that if you had pearls then you could just give them her. Obviously she'd appreciate them more if it was more than two," I declare, heading over to the community house. I walk in the dark oak doors, and see Midnight's Default alex skin look up, down, than looks at me. She nods and heads through the door I just opened. Nice.

I see her, through the door, run to the plains biome to gather resources for her "love" I can't really tell if this is real but it is the funniest ship I've ever seen in our friend group.

Alex, coming through the door, goes to the balcony of the community house. I walk with her, curiosity getting the best of me. Through the chests and the lanterns, just to the middle of the balcony. She crouches, and just stares at the suns leave. She sighs.

"Angel...how do I say this," she looks at me, then right back at the orange glaze of inevitable sun setting.

"Say what-t" I ask bewildered, stuttering slightly. What's happening.

Cuss warning next line

She turns back to me, sighs once more, and softly says, "Angel if you don't give me those pearls I will shove this sword up your ass."

Midnight starts wheezing in the background. Me and Alex are absolutely dying, me holding on the the table that my computer rests on for support. We all are exhaling more air than we are taking in, and this will be the cause of our lung problems when we are eighty. This right here.

"AL-LE-X" Midnight manages to say between wheezes. It's going to be quite the minute before she gathers herself: she doesn't laugh this hard very often.

Honestly I wish every day was like this. It's nice this way.
