Gavin

"Y/N, don't walk away from me!"

She rolls her eyes as she walks pasts me and enters the living room. "I am going to walk away if you're acting crazy for no reason."

"Were you with that guy?" I interrogate her before I could even stop myself.

She gives me a defeated look, but it was like she was slowly slipping away from me.

"You have to be kidding me right now. You seriously think that I was off with some guy?"

"Well, that's what I was told."

She raises an eyebrow at me. "By who?"

She asked, but I had no answer to give her. If I tell her who told me then she would never trust me again, but if I don't tell her then she still won't trust me. Either way, I won't be trusted because of stupid choices.

"It was your ex, wasn't it?"

"Y-N, I-" I tried to explain myself, but she cut me off.

"I can't believe that you would believe her words over mine." Her voice cracked under the whisper.

"Y/N, no-"

"Bye, Gavin." She whispers and before I could even stop her, she had already left

I sit down on the sofa and curse myself.

After what I thought was a few minutes, turned out to be a few hours.

I was frustrated and angry, but only with myself.

I can't even remember how the argument had first occurred, but I now realise that I was the main cause of it. One minute we were happy and the next I was just throwing questions at her that I didn't actually mean.

While I was sitting down, I tried calling her several times, but she would either not pick up or she would let it go straight to voicemail.

I walk up the wooden steps and into our bedroom, trying to call her again and hoping that she would answer.

I toss the phone onto the messy bed after giving up and I run my hands down my tired face as I groan in frustration. I sit down on the bed and tug my hair in hopes to go back in time and stop the fight from even happening.

I hear something vibrate next to me and I see that it was my phone. I quickly grabbed it, fumbling with it as I tried to press accept.

"Hello!?"

"Where are you?!" The person asked, making me sigh in defeat because it wasn't Y/N.

It was Y/N's mum, she had probably told her about everything that had happened.

"In my house." I answer slowly, "Why? Is everything okay?"

"Y/N got into a huge car accident and she is at the local hospital, but-"

The phone dropped from my hand and landed on the floor as the words left her mouth.

She got into an accident because of me.

I pick up my keys, dashing right out of the house and I start driving to the hospital. I'm well aware that I'm way over the speed limit, but this is an emergency and the law is the last thing that's on my mind at the moment.
