Y/N
You were currently at a mutual friends birthday party and quietly observing your surroundings as your friend ushers someone over to the two of you.
"Y/N, This is my friend, Gavin. He's an actor and he's currently working on a project, right?" She looks over at Gavin and he offers a sweet smile to you.
"Yeah, just about to wrap up hopefully in a few weeks." He answers.
You immediately noticed his charming smile and dark eyes. They drew some sort of attention to you, but you couldn't quote pin point what.
"Am I allowed to ask what it's about?" You ask, fidgeting with your purse that's in your hand.
He chuckles softly as he takes a sip of his icy drink, keeping a lingering eye on you.
"Let's just say it's a mystery type of show with a lot of blood and gore."
"I can't wait to watch it when it comes out." You tell him enthusiastically.
He slightly nods his head at your statement before looking back at the bar and turning back to the two of you.
"I'm going to head over to the bar and get a few drinks. You ladies want anything?"
You were about to refuse his offer, but Y/F/N decided to speak for you. "I'll just take a white gummy bear shot and, Y/N, will have a...?"
You give her a subtle glare as you feel Gavin's intense stare on the side of your head.
"Whiskey neat, please." You answer before digging through your purse to take some cash out, but Gavin waves you off with the empty glass in his hand.
"It's on me."
You look up almost immediately. "Are you sure?"
"Positive." He confirms and takes a stroll over to the bar while Y/F/N is besides herself with her squealing.
"So?!" She asks excitedly, giving you a very smile which you don't return.
"So what?"
"How'd you like him?"
You give her a puzzled look. "He's alright? Why are you asking me that?"
You suddenly grow suspicious once she turns to glance at ,Gavin, who is waiting at the bar before she gives you a mischievous smile.
Slowly the pieces click together and your jaw hangs wide open as your friend has a smirk resting on her lips.
"Oh my God! You are not setting me up with him."
"Oh, come on!" She says agitatedly. "There's nothing wrong with him."
"I never said there was. I just don't wanna date anyone right now."
"He's been asking about you for quite some time."
Your scrunched up face loosens. "Really?"
"Really." She confirms, "He told me that he saw you at some café with me and said that he wanted to get to know you better."
"I don't know, Y/F/N. He seems like such a nice guy, but I don't feel like being in a relationship."
"Yeah, I heard you the first time." She deadpans, "Just give him a chance."
"Why?"
"Because he's now coming over here right now." She hushes you and turns to greet Gavin with a cheesy smile on her rosy face.
He stops in front of us and carefully hands you both your drinks. Y/F/N was about to down her shot quickly, but controls herself.
She briefly looks outside the windows in the club and sees the rain pouring down hand.
