Your POV:

Before I could wander my mind about what Venti had said, Diluc interrupted.
"Your 3 bottles of dandelion wine, 6000 mora if you may?" He asked politely and I handed him the mora.
"Thank you." He took the mora and left to other customers.

"Here!" I slid the 3 bottles across the table to Venti. He grinned and snatched them immediately. I just rolled my eyes playfully and sighed.

"You're not gonna have anything?" He asked, pausing before opening the first bottle.
"Nope, I'm not thirsty." I replied back.
"Suit yourself." He shrugged and opened the bottle.

He chugged it down, to no one's surprise. I quietly chuckled at him.

After about 5 minutes, he somehow managed to get through all 3 bottles. I figured that when I'd offered to bring him here he'd get drunk and most likely pass out again.

Yet somehow, despite drinking more than last time, he didn't faint. He was just dizzy. Insanely dizzy. I sighed and face palmed at him.

"Alright let's go." I told him and gestured for him to get up. He tried getting up but tragically tripped. However, I caught him before he hit the floor. I pulled him upwards and draped his arm over my shoulder to help him walk.

"Thanks, Y/N, you're a life saverrrr." I rolled my eyes at his remark and staggered towards the door whilst supporting him.
"Why do I put up with you.." I whined.
"Because you loooove me!" He proudly exclaimed. I was a bit taken back by his exclamation but went along with it.
"Sure, whatever you say." I agreed.
"Well i love you too!" He cheekily yelled in my ear. I got a bit flustered but brushed it off.

I eventually made it back in one piece to my house. Still supporting Venti, I brought him to his room and plopped him into his bed. He fell asleep almost immediately. I went and got ready in my bathroom and went to sleep.

The next day.

I woke up to see bright aqua eyes staring into my own E/C eyes. On reflex I punched the figure and perked up on alert. I quickly realised who I just punched.

"Ow!" Venti whined.
"What were you doing?! You scared me!" I retaliated.
"Watching you sleep." He laughed whilst still holding onto his nose which I had just punched.
"Don't do that again unless you want another fist to the face.." I sighed.
"Fiiine" He groaned.
"Now go get ready and I'll do the same."
"Okayyy!" He chirped and skipped out my room.

After we both finished getting ready, we met downstairs in the kitchen. I cooked 2 Teyvat eggs because who knows what kind of tragic event could happen if Venti even attempted to turn the stove on. We both sat down and ate; then headed out to the tree by the Anemo statue.

Timeskip to like 7pm because i'm lazy asf

The moon was rising and was gigantic tonight. Shining brightly off in the distance. We were still under the tree sitting, chatting, laughing. Until the bard stood up.
"I'm boreeedd" he whined. I stood up with him.
"Well, what do you wanna do then?" I asked.
"Hmmm..." He thought for a while.

"Let's dance!" He held out his hand, gesturing me to take it.
"Huh? I-i can't dance.." I admitted shyly.
"C'mon! It's easy, here I'll teach you." He grabbed my hands and placed them both onto his shoulders. Then he placed his hand respectfully onto my waist and spun me around.

Like he said, I got the hang of it easily.
As we were dancing, a thought lingered in my mind. It wandered back to last night at the tavern. Did he really mean what he said?
The thought clouded my mind and I just decided to ask him.

"Hey, did you mean what you said last night.?" I asked nervously.
"I'm sorry, I don't remember last night since i was kinda drunk." He frowned.
"I just hope it wasn't something that upset you.." He looked down in shame.
"Oh, no it didn't upset me at all!" You panicked.
"So.. what did i say to you..?" He asked nervously anticipating my reply.

"I love you."
