Minho was in his room gazing at the stars in this clear night when the first snowflakes fell from the sky covering the world in white.
After the incident yesterday in the Café Apolline had not approached him again which made him worry although he appreachiated not having to see her face. Actually, he had been avoiding any kind of person these days... especially Jisung.
Minho had told himself to ignore the younger as a consequence of his actions and yet he couldn't hold himself back when that guy was about to punch Jisung.

"Damn!" Minho hissed and let himself fall down on his bed. He had never felt the need to protect any of his assistants from random people so why did he get so angry back then? Was it because Jisung was his age and they started building up a friendship? But they never 'talked' or at least approached each other in a friendly manner...
Probably Jisung wasn't even interested in being friends with anyone, especially not the older after the way he treated him. And also... Jisung had Hyunjin close enough to him and also this Chan guy so who cares?
Maybe it was time to actually throw Jisung away. He got a bit boring by now.

And yet, there were still some involved mysteries that Minho wanted to discover about the boy's mind.
Remembering the way Jisung had reacted to his touch at the party, a frown made its way to Minho's eyebrows. Why would Jisung act like he was desperate back then when he did it with Hyunjin after that... and he didn't even apologize or give in to the truth.

In that moment there was a knock on the door before Jisung entered, bringing Minho the cup of coffee he had ordered. The older took it before placing it on his desk while observing Jisung closely. As usual the boy bowed and was about to turn around and go back when he suddenly stumbled over the edge of the carpet.

With a loud noise he bumbed into a random drawer, barely managing to not fall but... the old pocket watch that was always placed on that exact drawer was pushed down by him and broke in many pieces on the floor.

Minho could only look at it in shock. This watch... held so much meaning to him that the fact that it was broken didn't sink in immediately. It had belonged to his grandpa, the father of his mother and he gave it to Minho 6 years ago before he passed away.
The boy had respected this person more than anything else. His grandpa was the one that had held him in his arms telling him that crying was okay when his parents pressured him to do even better in school. He had always understood Minho the best.

The second Jisung got up he instantly noticed that something was wrong... the look in Minho's eyes showed pain.

Feeling extremely guilty and scared Jisung kneeled down and was about to try and put the pieces back together but he was harshly pushed away.

"Don't you dare touch that! You- you! It could have been any object but you destroyed that one! Are you trying to make me angry?! Because damn well now I am!" Minho clenched his fists, his voice full of tension and anger.

With teary eyes Jisung stared up at him and formed 'I'm so sorry' with his lips before bowing again and again.

"You're sorry?" Minho pushed him again.

"Do you think that'll change anything? This watch is not something that you can replace nor could you ever make up for it!" Minho growled and took more steps toward Jisung who was cornered between the wall and him, being scared to death. He fucked up... he really fucked up this time.

"But the only thing you ever do is playing the innocent little brat, crying and begging for forgiveness. Fucking around with others because the job you do here isn't worth it. You feel like you're better than anyone else, don't you?! But you're weak and PATHETIC!" he slammed his hands next to Jisungs head.

The younger wanted to hold his ears and run but then Minho would think what he said was the truth. His last chance... was to try proving him wrong. He'd be kicked out if he didn't change Minho's mind!
