I'm Cecelia, just a regular 7th grader. I'm 13 and I'll be turning 14 next year. my best friend Sarah, is the same age. today is my first day of 7th grade, I'm excited to see Sarah today. I hope we are in the same class. I got out of bed, and brushed through my wavy, brunette hair. I'm jealous of Sarah's hair. It's very straight, and blonde. like they say, every blonde needs a brunette.
- on the walk to school -
I tried to spot Sarah on the busses, but every time one went by the students inside blurred up. I started thinking about how 7th grade would go. I kept overthinking about what would happen, maybe Sarah would find a better bestfriend and I would get replaced, or what if I fail and never see Sarah again.
the walk to school wasn't the same. I miss the braiding hair on the bus, and the comparing nails. walking to school was the most boring thing ever. I hope my mom let's me take the bus with Sarah soon. I wish she was here walking with me right now, I thought.
- at school -
I walked into the school, looking around for Sarah. I didn't find her. I started to worry. I walked to study hall, I was the first one there. room 119, Anderson homeroom.
