it's first period, study hall. Ms. Anderson is sitting at her desk, on the phone. she always makes this weird face when on the phone, one eyebrow up with her eyes squinted. it's usually when she's on with the principle.  she always yells into the phone super loud. it's like they can't hear her talking. Cecelia was across the room. I had asked her to switch her seat, but Ms. Anderson  didn't let her. Ms. Anderson is really strict. I didn't have any homework, so I went to talk to C.

"what's up?" I said, walking toward her. "nothing" she shrugged. she had been drawing on a scrap piece of paper. "you know that's really good" I said examining her paper. Cc had always been good at art. she's amazing at watercolor. we talked about winter break, and what we got for Christmas. she got a phone, I got a laptop. my mom said my phone was fine, so I just asked for a laptop.

in second period, we got a free day because it was someone's birthday. Mr. Adam then told us we would have a new student. I was very excited. "Her name is Audrey" Mr. Adam announced, " everyone is welcome to greet her during our free period." she came over to me. "hello" she said. her voice was soft. she looked a lot like me. she was a tall blonde girl, she was pretty too. "hi! I'm Sarah" I said. after that, we compared schedules, and turns out, her schedule was exact to mine! I can tell we are going to be best friends. I looked over at C. she wasn't talking to Marissa. I wonder why. but all my attention was on Audrey, I wanted her to feel welcome.

                                                                     - forth period -

we had another free period, Liv was getting a lot of attention for her birthday. I went over to Audrey. we exchanged numbers, and arranged for me to go to her house later. Of course I said yes, what good would that do to a friendship if I said no? her house is probably super modern, and her room must be similar to mine.

at Audrey's house, I was right. her house had such a nice modern touch, and her family photos hung on the wall were perfect. her room looked exactly like mine, it was so cool. she had so many different stuffed animals, that flipped for a mood change, or giant bears. we talked, and I told her about what people to avoid, people to make friends with, and cute boys. I've tried talking to Cc about that stuff, but she has such different taste. me and Audrey were so alike, we got along so well, and I decided to sleep over. this was the best day ever. turns out, she's my new neighbor.
