LAYING ON HIS BACK, Naois glanced up at the sparkling night sky. His arms were folded behind his head as he patiently waited for Stoke and Caben to return from their attempt of recruiting the Mandalorian.

The nightly dew began to cling to his clothing, seeping through the threaded fabric, but Naois' attention was guided towards the stary sky. The branches of nearby trees disrupted his thoughts as a swift breeze began to ripple through the clouded night sky.

Thoughts clouded the young man's mind, ranging from everything to nothing. At that moment, in that second of peace, where the trees finally stilled and the silence of the forest began to gently lay, Naois' mind was in chaos.

When Naois was young, his father would retell the stories of Mandalore and the battles that shifted the race into one of violence. Although, violence wouldn't be the right word, and 'warrior' was an often overused one when it came to describing the race of Mandalorians. Soldier meant that they were tied down, but the culture of Mandalore itself was one that has paced through many races and versions of humans.

However, one story that his father would despise retelling, was that of the group of Death Watch. Like many religions, the way of Mandalore had evolved past its the outer shell of battles and armour. Naois always had trouble grasping at why they were needed to change, but after witnessing his mother's death and his fathers, he began to understand why they needed to change.

The dutches Satine, who was not only a good friend of his aunts but also a woman who was once betrothed to his father, believed in a world of neutrality. If anything, Naois wished he could go back in time and applaud the woman as he knew the ways of battle and by no means was he a decent negotiator.
