[1] Prologue

Are humans at the top of the food chain?

We have the ability to think, to communicate, to hunt . . . kumpara sa ibang mas malalaking hayop, meron tayong mga kagamitan at pag-iisip para labanan sila. Hindi tayo basta-basta natatakot—kasi tao tayo.

We know that we have an advantage over the so-called predators.

But what if . . . the predators are also humans?

No . . . not just humans.

They also have the ability to think, to communicate, to hunt.

Pero hindi hamak na mas malalakas sila kaysa sa atin. And they treats us like foods. They feed on us humans.

A creature that never gets old . . . the bloodsuckers . . . the vampires.

They're not like what we've read in fairytales or fantasy stories. Vampires don't fall in love with humans—they just drink our blood.

Bigla na lamang silang sumulpot. Nakihahalobilo sila sa mga tao at naghahanap ng magiging hapunan.Kaya gumawa ng paraan ang mga nakatataas para maiwasan ang pagdami nila at ang pag-ubos natin.

An association was built. The Blood Hunt Association.

Kung saan ako nabibilang. Pinapanatili naming ligtas ang mga tao. We are slayers who kill bloodsuckers.

Ginagamit namin ang mga kagamitan na alam naming tatalab sa kanila. Pero alam namin na pagdating sa lakas ay wala kaming ibabatbat. They're fast, they have enormous strength, and they can heal within seconds.

Ang iba pa sila ay may natatanging kakayahan. Kaya gumawa rin ang asosasyon ng paraan para hindi kami basta-basta matatalo.

They experimented on humans to have some skills just like a vampire. Kahit masasabing hindi pa rin 'yon gaanong mabisa ay sapat na 'yon para may ipanlaban kami.

At ako ang nagpresenta bilang unang test subject. I'm the first one they experimented with and the first human to have vampire skills.

I'm project zero.
