Why Are You So Quiet

Fast forward a day before the flight.

George had just finished packing and placed everything he needed for the trip. He was excited to finally see Dream. He hadn't seen his face yet and considering he had a little crush on him, he was a little too excited.

He placed his luggage by his front door and headed back to his room. As he laid down on his bed to watch tv his phone lit up. It was Dream.

Dream✨:
Hey Georgie

George: Again, you don't need to call me that and hi :)

Dream✨:
But I feel like it-
Anyways wanna play the smp?
No streaming just me, you and sap

George: sure I'll get on

He logged onto the SMP.

They played for a bit and Dream had to leave and run some errands before George flew over, leaving Sapnap and George alone. "So you excited to finally see Dream?" George blushed a little bit. "Yeah I mean I've never seen his face so maybe I'm a little over excited." Sapnap started laughing along with George but then they both quieted down leaving awkward silence.

"You like Dream don't you?" George immediately turned red and started getting flustered. "I- I d-don't!" George started ranting at Sapnap. "George chillllll I was only joking, but you obviously like him I'm not blind." George sighed while Sapnap kept laughing. "Ok well maybe I like him..." You could literally feel Saps mouth drop a little. Just then Dream joined the call.

Everything went silent. For what felt like forever Dream broke the silence. "Guys..? Helloo..?" George wanted to leave so bad but he was literally going to meet Dream tomorrow and he didn't want it to be awkward. "Hey Dream sorry you just startled us a little bit, we figured you'd be gone longer." Dream started feeling a hint of jealously.

What were they doing before I joined? Would George ever like Sapnap?? Just do too thinking Dream you're just going to make yourself worry and George is coming over tomorrow. I wish I could tell him how I felt.

"Yeah no it's fine so what were you guys doing?" George started panicking. "Uh w-we were just talking about stuff" Dream just stayed quiet. "Ok well I guess I should go to sleep I'm still flying over tomorrow" Completely forgetting Sapnap was there George blew a kiss into the mic and said bye.

As George laid in bed with his thoughts, he wished he had Dream next to him. What if I do something to screw my friendship with Dream ..? Why can't I just leave the thought of him be??? Why do I have to like him..? As he drifted off to sleep a single year rolled down his cheek.
