I introduced Gally to the newbie and they seemed to get along decently. I spent the rest of the day chatting away to Gally. We were just talking about what being in a coma felt like and how being stung was a weird experience.
Newt walked in late afternoon. "Hey Taylor, Hows the newbie doing" He turned the corner to see Gally awake and me sat on his bed. His mouth dropped open "Gally...... What the hell" Newt seemed both angry and happy at the same time. Then his expression changed to complete anger. "Gally what the hell did you think you were doing running out into the Godforsaken Maze. Have you lost your mind. Do you even know how much me and everyone else worried about you. Do you ever think of anyone but yourself" Newt seemed to explode with rage, I had never seen him this angry "Newt calm down" I stepped in front of Newt as to stop him punching Gally "your one to talk Taylor. He tried to kill you only days ago" Newt turned his anger to me.
He looked me in the eye before shouting "Taylor get out of the room I'm going to have a chat with Gally" He moved past me "What the hell gives you the right to talk to me like that. I have earned my spot in the Glade far more than you have so I think I will stay and you can get out of the room" I was fuming with anger. Newt was always the nice one and now he looked like he was going to kill Gally.
Mihno ran into the room with Alby after hearing all the commotion "Whats going on" Alby was clear, no fear was shown in his voice "Newt has turned into some rage bomb. He's shouting at me to get out of the room like he's in charge" I had backed away from Newt and towards Mihno and Alby "Ok Mihno take Newt and Taylor to in front of the map room get them to work things out. I'll stay back here and work things through with Gally. See what he can remember from the changing. If I hear one more argument break out today someone will get sent to the slammer" Albys voice silenced the room. His voice has always been a leaders voice. One you couldn't mess with so we all followed his orders.
