Chapter 9

"I told you! I don't love you anymore!  Please lang! Leave me alone. Give me peace! You cheater!" I got scared and shocked on what I heard.

"J-Jho? K-kanina ka pa ba dyan?" Gulat na tanong nya.

"A-ah, hindi. I just got here to give you a towel. Uhm, here oh." I gave her the towel and went back to the pool area and she followed me.

"Girls! Here are the towels! Kuha na lang kayo dito ha!" I shouted.

"Thank you." They replied

"Everyone! Laro tayo ng beer pong!" Pag-iinvite ni Ate Ella.

"We set it up na! Let's go!" Dagdag ni Maddie.

Everyone run towards sa side.

"Except you." Jia pulled me from my waist

I was just: "Here we go again, Jia."

"Let's just prepare the living room for the night time, for sure naman na malalasing mga yon." She mentioned and pulled me inside the house.

We went inside the house giggling because of what she said and started to prepare everything. An hour later, they all went inside the house.

"Oh, tapos na?" Tanong ni Jia

"Konti lang yung beer no! Kaya naglipit lang kami." Sabi ni Jules

Napalingon ako sa kanila, "Hey, why did you do that? You should let sina Ate na maglinis. They would understand naman kase pare-parehas lang tayo na pagod."

"It's okay, Ate Jho. Nakakaenjoy nga e." Sabi ni Deanna

"Thank you for welcoming us here and sa team, Ate." Sabi ni Vannie

"Always welcome, rookies! And welcome to the team! Tara let's watch!" Sabi ko kahit antok na ko

JIA'S POV

After ng isang movie ay napakasarap na ng tulog dito sa shoulder ko si Jho. I decided for us, two, to go up kaya nagpaalam na ako.

"Girls, we're going up na. If you wanna stay there for tonight, okay lang naman. Ate, kayo na po bahala." Sabi ko at binuhat na ng dahan-dahan si Jho.

"Oo sige. Ako na bahala dito. Rest well sa inyo, Jia." Sagot ni Ate Aly and I just smiled as a reply.

We went upstairs, sa room ni Jho, put her to bed, and I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After I took a shower, I look at Jho sleeping and the flashbacks came.

"Jho, I'm sorry. I didn't ment to leave you!" Sabi ko habang sya paalis sa garden kung saan ginaganap ang birthday party nya.

"Jho, please! Talk to me!" I shouted

"No! Don't talk to me ever! Ayaw na kitang makita!" Sigaw nya sakin.

Tumigil sya at hinarap ako, " You know what? I don't want to listen with your excuses. You promised me not to leave me, like Ricci did, but what have you done?! You left me! You left me, Jia!" Sigaw nya sabay iyak.

I went to her and hugged her. Simula noong iwan kami ni Ricci ng walang paalam. Pinangako ko sa sarili na hindi ko iiwan si Jho, hindi ako gagaya kay Ricci pero nangyare din kase sila daddy may kailangang asikasuhin sa Canada at walang maiiwan na kasama ko kase nagiisang anak ako at hindi rin nila kayang malayo sakin ng matagal. After a year, I decided to go home, here sa Pilipinas, para balikan yung naiwan kong best friend. Noong nawala yung lola nya, wala ako sa tabi nya to comfort her, at wala rin ako sa tabi nya nung time na nalaman nya yung about sa sakit nya, kaya pala todo bantay si tita sa kanya noon. I wish na sana hindi ko siya iniwan at pinabayaan mag-isa. Sana hindi ako umalis. Sana maibalik sa dati yung friendship naming walang lamat at pagdududa.
