"Hoi Louisse!" Sigaw ni Jia
"What?" Irita kong sabi. "What do you want?" Dagdag ko.
"LQ parin ba kayo ha?" Tanong ni Ponggay.
Nakita ko sa peripheral vision ko ang pagkagulat ng mga nagtry-outs.
"Excuse me Pongs? Sa tingin mo magugustuhan ko tong halimaw na to?" Sagot ko kay Ponggay.
"Duh! We're best friend, remember?" Inakbayan ako ni Jia pag sabat nya sa amin ni Ponggay.
"Argh! Let go Juu! You're so heavy!" Pilit kong inaalis akbay nya sakin.
"Jhoana Louise Maraguinot naman e!" Jia hugged me. "Bati na tayo." Dagdag niya
"Okay fine. Let's go!" I went out the locker room and they followed me.
"Hi Jho! Hi Jia!" Bati ng ibang students na nakakasalubong namin sa corridors while we walk on the way to our first and last class for the day because we were excused of the try-outs awhile ago. After 5 minutes we reached our class and buti wala pa yung prof namin kase baka i-late pa kami. We sat beside each other. Nasa bandang likod kami ako yung nasa window side dahil hilig ko nag s-side seeing doon.
"Good afternoon class, Sorry I'm late. I will just give you your assignment for today. Memorize the Organizational Charts and we will be having a quiz about it next meeting. Any questions?"
"None, Sir!" Sagot naming lahat.
"If that so, you are dismissed because I have a meeting to catch. Enjoy your vacants or you can go home na to rest. Especially the players. I know na hard trainings na kayo for the UAAP. Good day!"
"Thank you sir!" Sabi namin ni Jia.
"So Jho, where are you planning to go? Last sub na natin 'to 'di ba." Jia asked me.
By the way. Baka nalilito kayo, sadyang we are so besties kaya kami lang nag tatawagan ng jujubear, we want unique names lang.
"Ju, natutulala ka na naman sa pagmumukha ko. Ganon na ba ako kaganda ha?" Nabalik ako sa realidad dahil sa mga pinagsasasabi ng halimaw.
"Hindi ah! Naisip ko lang... If..."
"If?" Sabat nya.
"If punta kaya tayo sa condo?" Sabi ko ng walang pag aalinlangan.
"Condo? Mo? Buti? I mean buti doon mo gusto pumunta?" Gulat na tanong nya
"Pwede ba Jujubear! We never went there after..." Nahinto ako
"After nung kay Nic-"
"Shut up! Tara na!" Putol ko sa kanya sabay tayo and lakad papunta sa parking.
*KKRRRIIINNGGG...*
"Hello Mom?" Sagot ko
"Hi Tita Lovel!" Sabat ni Jia
"Jho, how's the try-outs?" Mom asked.
"It's fine, Mom. Later after the classes we will know who passed it."
"Is that so? Did you took the try-outs?"
"No, Mom. They just made the try-outs just to make us complete parin even the seniors leave us."
"Oh, hmmm... How about you invite them for a pool party. Today is Friday there's nothing to worry , right?" Mom said.
"I'll ask the newbies about it. I know naman na sasama teammates e. See you later, Mom." Sabi ko
"See you honey!" Mom ended the call.
"Anong sabi ni tita?" Tanong ni Jia.
"Teka! Sakin sasakyan 'to! Ako magddrive!" Sabi ko
"C'mon soft voice! Pasok ka na, ikaw pabalik." Sabi nya.
"Bwisit soft voice." I face palmed then went inside my car.
