JHO'S POV

3 months has passed and the UAAP season will start now.

"Guys, let us do our best! Alam kong kaya niyo!" Coach shouted.

"First 7 line-up, get ready." Coach stopped.

"#02 the team captain and open spiker, Alyssa Valdez! #13 the libero, Denden Lazaro!
#14 middle blocker, Bea De Leon!
#10 open spiker, Kat Tolentino!
#12 setter, Jia Morado!
#07 middle blocker, Maddie Madayag! Last but not the least! #15 opposite spiker, Jho Maraguinot!" I froze when I heard my name.

I know this wasn't the first time but I guess, it is because I'll be playing with Bea now.

"Jho, okay ka lang ba? Parang namumutla ka kase." Tanong ni Bea.

"Ah, wala. I was just nervous, as always." I answered and had a fake laugh.

While the announcer is announcing the oponent's first 6/7 (kase kasama libero), I saw Maddie, Bea and other oldies na nagulat nung tinawag si Kianna Dy. It is weird. Ano kayang meron? Baka magaling talaga sya, ano?

BEA'S POV

"Why is she here? Hindi ba nasa California yan?" Pabulong na tanong ni Maddie after they announced Kianna's name.

"M-Mads, hindi ko rin alam. Pano na to?" Kabadong sabi ko then I saw Jho looking at us.

"Bea, alam mo ba na andito siya?" Ate Aly asked.

"Bei, tapos naman na kayo diba?" Tanong ni Jia and I nodded.

"Is there anything scary about Kianna?" Jho asked with a curious face, and all of us were shocked.

"No, Jho. There isn't." Sagot ko sa kanya

"Nagulat lang kami kase ang alam namin nasa ibang bansa siya." Dagdag ni Ate Aly.

"Okay." She answered and everyone went to their positions.

It really amazes me on how Jho keeps scoring and keeps the ball away from the blocker to down the line.

"Ateneo Lady Eagles' 1st win is totally expected, but here we are today with the another rising athlete, Jhoana Maraguinot! Jho as the player of the game, makikita talaga natin kung gaano niya ipinakita ang skills nya with her down the line and cross court hits. Jho, can you share some techniques on how you do this?" Pinapanuod ko siya while she's having her interview, pero I can't keep my eyes off of Kianna. Bakit pa siya bumalik? Bakit ngayon lang?

"Bei? Sinong tinitignan mo dyan?" It was Jho, tapos na pala interview nya.

"Ah wala. Tara na ba?" I asked at inakbayan sya.

"Bigat ng kamay mo, Bea!" Sigaw niya pero di naman inalis at pumunta na kami sa locker room.

"Congratulations to on our first win in our first game! I hope this will not end here. Also, I want to congratulate Jho, as she did a very good play." -Coach Oliver.

After a few minutes, we headed to the bus but even before I am about to go inside the bus, someone called me. I know it was Kianna and teammates but I did not looked at them.

"Bei, I think the other team was calling you." Jho said when I took my sit, beside Maddie and infront of Jho and Jia.

"Ay, talaga ba? Hindi ko kase sila narinig. Nakaearphones kase ako, sorry." Palusot ko at ipinakita na tinatanggal yung earphones.

"Bea, alam ba ni Jho yung sa inyo ni Kianna?" Tanong ni Maddie.

"No, Mads. She does not." I answered

"When are you planning to tell her?" Tanong nanaman nito.

"I don't know, Mads. Hindi ko alam."
