" Hello?"

Blush crept upon Kenichi's cheek as he quickly realized who he was actually talking with.( A/n- I bet you already know who that person is)

" H-haruto?"

Kenichi stuttered as he tried to cover his smile.

" Kenichi...."

Haruto answered before pausing for a moment.

" How are you Kenichi?"

Covering his wide smile, Kenichi then quickly regained his composure before holding onto the phone tightly.

" I'm fine Haruto..."

"That's great...."

" Is this your number? Or are you calling from your home?"

He answered before quickly turning his head over , trying to look if his mother was walking around the hallway.

" It's my number and Kenichi?"

He got cut off by Haruto who suddenly called out his name

" Y-yes?"

' Damn why do I keep stuttering?'

These thoughts ran across Kenichi's mind as he quickly shook them off away before answering back.

" I...."

The other male over the phone spoke out before stopping half way.

" Yes go on Haruto"

Kenichi couldn't wait what the other male was going to say, in fact he was already getting impatient.

"...."

" Speak out Haruto, I'm waiting...."

He answered back sweetly as he forced out a sweet smile.

" I fought with my mom today...."

"....."

As soon as he heard that, guilt spread across his entire mind as he held onto the phone even more tightly.

" Kenichi...?"

"......"

" I'm sorry for bringing this up all of sudden but I wanted to tell you about it..."

"....."

" I'm sorry if that bothered you-"

" Where are you right now ?"

" ?"

" Tell me, where are you right now?"

"Should I really tell you...?"

" Yes"

Without even hesitating for a sec, Kenichi quickly replied back with a quick *Yes*

" Then trust me, trust me that you you won't freak out after I tell you where I am currently in"

" Yes, just tell me"

" ...."

There was a brief moment of silence, the hallway remained silent and so do both of the two boys remained eerily quiet.

Till Haruto suddenly broke the silence away

" I'm currently outside your house right now"

"...."

" Kenichi?"

" MOM! IM GOING OUT FOR A BIT!!"

As fast as the flash, Kenichi hung up the phone within a sec before he quickly dashed off towards to the front door.

*CLICK*

Without even looking back, he then opened the front door before quickly dashing out from the house

Nervousness was clearly pasted on Haruto's face as he fearfully looked at his phone .

Remembering how Kenichi cut off his call all of sudden....he felt miserable

His hands trembled as he began thinking of how to face Kenichi again, the next time they meet together.

' Would he still like me?....'

Random thoughts came across his mind as he began to clenched his hands tightly.

" Will he not look at me anymore...?"

His puppy ears began dropping as he slowly thought of Kenichi, who will be totally ignoring him if they ever meet again

His huge body slumped down in utter sadness as he looked at the front door one last time before turning away

* CLICK*

Out of nowhere, he then heard footsteps approaching towards him.

Then all of a sudden,

" HARUTO!!"

Two arms slowly entangled themselves around his neck as he suddenly found himself being engulfed into a tight hug.

"!"

His red eyes widened in surprise as he slowly stumbled in shock.

" K-kenichi"

He blurted out as he noticed how the other male was hugging him.

" Haruto..."

Kenichi whispered as he slowly broke the hug away while never letting go of his hands

His eyes slightly widened in shock as he took noticed of the red scar on Haruto's face.

' How? Who did this?! When?!'

Thousands of questions came running across his mind, but he didn't wanted to scare Haruto off

So without wasting a second, both of his hands then slowly went up towards Haruto's face as he slowly cupped his face in his hands.

"I'm here for you, I'm here for you...."

Kenichi smiled, his eyes never leaving Haruto's face.

Feeling the warm touch on his cheeks, Haruto then slowly closed his eyes. Before quickly moving in for a hug again

" Kenichi...."

Haruto whimpered as his whole body droop down on Kenichi's body.

" There, there"

Kenichi smiled as he kept patting Haruto's back, while perfectly hiding his pained smile.

" It will be alright Haruto, it will be alright...."

The two boys then stood there, hugging each other while savouring every moment that they could.

The only thing that they were not really aware of, was the glances given to them by the passerbys and the neighbors that passed towards them
