Chapter-14

*Knock* *Knock* a figure kept shifting restlessly on the bed as the door kept on banging within every second.

" Ugh" Kenichi lazily replied as he woke up from his bed.

His black hair was all messy, his emerald green eyes was twitching in annoyance as he looked at his door.

" Coming!!!" He angrily shouted as he grumpily began to walk slipping his feet in his slippers he lazily tore the blanket away from his embrace.

Unlocking his bedroom door, he grumpily marched down towards the stairs.

He began mumbling out nonsense as he finally reached the front door of his house and soon he grabbed the handle as he unlocked it while sighing heavily.

" What?!" Kenichi angrily shouted as he opened the front door revealing a small figure who was standing outside.

Infront of him stood his one and only best friend who was already grinning like a fool.

" Morning!!!" Mori chirped out happily as she suddenly twirled around, her skirt slowly swaying along with her movement as she moved her hips.

Her body suddenly came into a halt as she looked at Kenichi who was standing there, already frozed in his place.

(ー_ー;) was the reaction of Kenichi as he stared dumbfoundedly at Mori .

' she is not my friend, she is not my friend ' was all he could think at that moment until he was suddenly interrupted by Mori, smacking mercilessly at his head.

* Smack* " Owww!!!" Kenichi screamed as his hand voluntarily moved towards his forehead.

" What are you looking at, huh?!" Mori shouted as she crossed her arms in her flat chest.

" What?" Kenichi blurted out as he kept on massaging his forehead.

" Nevermind, but have you noticed something different in me?" Mori twirled her blond locks as she looked happily at Kenichi, her eyes filling with hope.

And that moment, Kenichi knew that he was doomed.

Looking carefully around the person in front of him. He examined carefully while small drop of sweat was trickling down on his face.

Gulping nervously, he scratched his head and slowly pointed his finger over Mori's skirt .

" Oh my god!!!!!" He flinched at the sudden commotion created by Mori as he closed his eyes, waiting patiently like a scared puppy to get a good beating but that beating never came until he was suddenly interrupted by someone grabbing his hands .

" You are so great!!! Kenichi you know me so well!!!!!" Kenichi sweatdropped as he stared at Mori dumbly.

" What's wrong with your skirt?" He asked as he opened the door wider so that Mori could enter in.

The house was like your typical Japanese house. Each room had surprisingly sufficient space with each having beautiful decors but except for Kenichi's whose room was filled and pasted entirely with Rock band posters and his favourite idols.

" You are too dense!" Mori shouted as she took out her shoes while glaring at Kenichi.

" Maybe........?" Opening the gas stove, Kenichi set up a small frying pan as he moved towards the refrigerator.

" Hmpf! You are already! " Mori pouted as she angrily sat in one of the kitchen counter.

Kenichi slightly smiled as he cracked one of the eggs while dropping the egg into the frying pan.

" I shortened my skirt a little bit" Mori smiled as she began twirling her hair again.

" Oh. So that , that pun- I mean, that new boy will notice you?" Kenichi raised his eyebrows as he flipped the eggs while closing the stove.

Mori nodded her head slightly as she frowned" he already noticed me from the beginning"

Hearing those words, Kenichi slightly chuckled as he poured himself a cup of coffee as well as for Mori.

Soon,the entire room was filled with the rich aroma of coffee as the scent lingered around the whole room.

Inhaling the scent, Mori let out a moan as she boastfully plopped down in one of the chair.

" When will your parents come?" Taking the cup from Kenichi's hand, Mori took a sip as she asked.

Soon Kenichi also took a seat across Mori while he slowly played with his cup's handle, letting out a long
sigh, he slowly looked at Mori" They might not come this week too"

Hearing those Mori couldn't help but showed a sign of sympathy for his dear friend " I can't wait for your mom's Bento!!" Mori happily talked as she tried to cheer Kenichi up .

" Your mom's cook is the best!" Showing a thumbs up, Mori grinned happily as she began to sip again .

Chuckling slowly, Kenichi looked towards at the wall clock.

His eyes slowly widening in realisation while he suddenly blurting out.

" Shit, we are late...... "
