Chapter-29

* Sigh*

Kenichi sighed heavily before reluctantly dragging his feet towards to his locker door.

" Hey "

Turning his head around, he then notice Mori approaching towards him.

" Oh, hey"

He waved back as he slowly opened his locker door .

" Morning!"

The young girl beamed in utter delight before walking near Kenichi .

" Morning"

Kenichi then replied back as he started to quickly take the books away from the locker.

" Have you seen Haruto? "

There was a brief moment of silence before,

* Slam!*

Kenichi slammed the locker door hardly before quickly turning his head over to look back at Mori.

" No, I did. Not. See. Him "

As he said those words, he then quickly took off while leaving a confused Mori on the way.

Blinking her eyes in confusion, Mori then oddly stared back at Kenichi.

" Hey Kenichi...."

She called out before quickly rushing towards her friend.

" What's wrong with you? Is something bothering you lately?"

" Y-yea, I'm....."

He paused slightly before slowly looking back at Mori.

Noticing how his friend was looking back at him, Kenichi felt the urge to speak and discuss about Riku with Mori.

He wanted someone to help him overcome through this situation.

But he had a feeling that if he told Mori about Riku, then she might be in deep trouble .

So therefore having no choice, he closed his eyes before letting out a heavy sigh .

" I'm just tired ..."

He smiled as he began to pat her head.

" Oh....."

Looking back at Kenichi, all she could say was nothing till suddenly a question popped out in her mind out of nowhere.

" Do.... You........like Haruto?"

Right after hearing that question , Kenichi quickly yanked his hand away from Mori's head as he stared at her , heat rushing up to his cheeks .

" N-no!"

He denied quickly but then he couldn't stop blushing.

Noticing how flustered Kenichi was, Mori then suspiciously raised her eyebrows.

" I just asked you a question. Why are you getting all worked up?"

" I said I was tired!!!"

" Jeezz, Kenichi relax . Relax...."

Mori then folded her arms before looking back at the blushing boy that was right in front of her.

' what's wrong with him today?'

" Ken-san!!!"

Then out of nowhere, Riku appeared suddenly.

His personality was cheerful as always, in fact , he looked even more brighter today.

" Gosh, that's so bright"

Both Mori and Kenichi squinted their eyes before looking at the person who was in front of them .

" Ken-san, Mori-san. Good morning!"

The younger male smiled before walking up towards them.

" Good morning Riku! How are you always so bright?"

Mori greeted back before smiling.

" Well, I'm not sure about that either"

Scratching his head , Riku then laughed awkwardly while making some few girls squeal who were at the corner .

' Fake bastard'

Kenichi thought before rolling back his eyes .

He nearly escaped his mother's wrath all because of Riku . Well, he couldn't deny the fact that he was guilty of treating the younger male in a bad way. He actually felt guilty and ashamed. But at the same time, he just couldn't stand him at all.

He felt strange and weird because the younger male would appear everywhere he goes. And on top of that, he even showed up at his home ! There was something about the younger male that reminds him of * Danger!*

And moreover, When Haruto warned him about not to get close with his brother. He knew right away that something was wrong and fishy.

He needed to talk again with Haruto. He wanted to know the actual reason behind the truth of Riku's behaviour.

Looking up at the younger male, Kenichi greeted back before he slowly lowered his head, while whispering back to Mori

" I have to go somewhere, please keep Riku busy for a while okay? '

" Wha-"

Mori turned her head to face towards Kenichi till Kenichi suddenly cut her off by mouthing the word.

( I trust you)

Noticing how Kenichi was serious , Mori couldn't help but slowly nod her head while giving up the thumbs up hand sign and mouthing

( Don't worry, you can trust me)

The two friends then slowly began to  continue with their secret mouthing show till they were suddenly cut off by the younger male.

" What are you guys talking abo-"

" Well,I have to go now!!"

Kenichi then cut off Riku by quickly speaking out .

" See you later guys! "

" Okay!"

Waving, Mori smiled back before quickly grabbing upon Riku's hand .

" Come on Riku! Let's go and eat something!"

She smiled while looking back at the younger male. Riku seemed confused as he slowly took a moment to realise what was actually happening.

" Wh-what about Ken-san?"

Riku then desperately looked back at Kenichi who was  already walking away, now far away from them.

" Oh, forget about him! Let's go and eat something before the Classes starts. I'm hungry"

" Sorry, but I'm actually busy right now so-"

" Kyaaaa! Riku-kun!!!"

Mori screamed suddenly, before quickly gaining the attention of some girls that were walking around the hall.

" Wha-"

Before Riku could answer anything, a huge crowd of fan girls suddenly appeared in a group out of nowhere before quickly taking the poor boy away  .

While in a corner, Kenichi clenched his books in his chest as he smiled in relief .

' I owe you one Mori'

He smiled one last time before quickly running away .

I was really busy with my online classes so I couldn't get enough time to update( Moreover I have online classes from 7pm to 10pm everyday😰😣) .
