Chapter 1

-Asher-

Beep! Beep! Beep! The continuous beeping woke me up from the best dream I've had. Angry and sleepy I slam my fist down on the alarm clock. I smiled when the beeping stopped, then I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. I got in the shower, letting the warm water wake me up more. I got out and rummaged through my dresser. Soon I was dressed in my black skinny jeans, Led Zeplin T-shirt and Doc Martens. I slid down the spiraling staircase, entered the kitchen and kissed my mom on the cheek. "Good morning mom, what's for breakfast? " she replied happily "Good morning birthday boy." "There's eggs, pancakes, bacon and toast for breakfast today." I had snuck a strip of bacon off a plate while my mom talked to me. I groaned when she mentioned my birthday. "Mom, please don't remind me,I know I will love my mate but that doesn't mean she'll love me.." my mom laughed at this and said "Any girl would die to be your mate." I scoffed "I don't think any girl would ever want the only nerdy alpha." I sat at the table as my mom passed me my plate. I said thank you and dug into my breakfast.

I heard my alarm beeping and decided it was time to go home. I sprinted home in my wolf, running through the forest taking in it's undervalued beauty. When I got home the back door was open so I slipped inside and headed to my room. I shifted and quickly got in the shower,washing the dirt from my morning run off. I got out, combed through my tangled hair and blow dried it. After I finished, I went to my closet. I found my baby blue skinnyjeans,a black tank top and blue tennis shoes. I picked up my back pack from the floor and headed to the kitchen. I smiled when I saw my mom and dad kissing. "Mom! Dad! We eat in here you know." I yelled jokingly. My dad blushed and looked down and my mom laughed "Sorry Kat." I laughed at my dad's expression "It's ok, I just came down to get some breakfast and head to school." "Speaking of school, can you take Violet today?" My dad asked. "Yea, but if she isn't down here in two minutes I'm leaving." My mom sighed knowing it's true, "Just go, I'll take Violet." "Ok, thanks mom, bye!"
