-Asher-

I was walking into class when I caught a strong scent of vanilla and strawberries. I breathed it in heavily, following the amazing scent to an empty classroom I wondered if anyone else could smell it. I walked in the classroom only to feel a rush of cool air blow past me as the door slammed shut. Almost no later than five seconds I  was pinned against the wall struggling against the sparks I felt and the strength of the girl pinning me. I took in another deep breath and reality soon smacked me in the face, this girl was my mate. But how, how did she have the ability to slam the door without being seen and then pin me against the cold wall of the classroom..? She kept her gaze right below my eyes knowing she would feel the connection between us if she didn't, I tried to lift my gaze but she wouldn't allow it. I sighed knowing what was gonna happen. "Go ahead, reject me but don't wait please make it fast. I know you wouldn't want someone like me as your mate." I said hanging my head in defeat. She realsed her hold on me and I could feel her icy stare on me, "Damn right I don't want you as my mate. We're both Alphas with no one else to take our place if one of us was to leave our pack. Not to mention our packs hate each other and the mere thought of your pack disgusts me." I bit back the anger threatening to escape as she talked poorly about my pack. "Just so I can torture you more my name is Katherine Peirce." She said tauntingly. It was sad that knowing her name but not being able to see her most likely beautiful face was tormenting me. She knew what to do to upset me, but I wasn't going to let it happen much longer. Free of her grip I finally looked up to see her eyes, she was shocked and I could see flickers of love in her eyes before it changed to hate and disgust. My own feelings of love were replaced by sorrow at such a look from my beautiful mate knowing it was directed at me. "You are to never look at me in the eyes again! Understood?!" She yelled at me. I whimpered looking down and nodded my head slowly. "Yes Luna Katherine, I understand."
