Chapter 10 Where's My Mate

Alex's pov

I stepped out of Nix's house walked through the trees deeper into the forest. once I was deep enough I stripped down bare and willed myself to change within a few min's I was in my wolf form my sight heighted with all my other sense's doing the same, my strength overpowering. there no signs of the wildlife no animals rusherling no birds churping. the thought of the flowers and how much me and Riley need them for to hide our mating made my wolf a bit angery as he didn't want to hide our mate instead he wanted the world to know that we mated and the guy was ours.

which I understood because I wanted the same but our world might not accept our mating i mean it's only been five years since the Human world started accepting gay's and lisbians.

he started thrashing around swipping at the tree barks. flunging himself at the trees I let him continue his anger our anger reached boiling point his frustration was spent he let me take control. he also knew why we were doing this in the first the situation we were in hasn't happened before mine, Riley's Dad's , our pack might reject us even kill us the thought tereifered me. What Nix was planning had to work it had to and everything would be ok. the further I got away from Nix's house the more the forest seemed to come to life I heard birds singing animals rusherling threw the bushes and srubs. the sun light shinning threw the trees got brighter too.

I jump over trees and little streams I came to a stop when I reached the end of the forest and the end of our territorty which was big. the red moon's pack land was getting ever so closer but between me and it were fields in no man's land. I stood in between the trees and twinks closing my eyes I started concentrating my energy started building up and spreading through my entire body. the sensation tingerling my body and soul, I opened my eyes my sight and all my senses became more highten than before I crouched low to the ground my claws kneederling the dirt of the forest floor. once the energy built up I released it and pushed off with my feet speed engulfing me making the world go slower the quicker I went the animals, the feel of the wind in my fur and leaves blowing in the wind seemed to be still. to the human's who might of saw me I would of come across as a blurr my strides pushing me every neara to the flowers on the other side of these fields and Nix's potion.

soon enough no man's land was behind me and just in front was the red moon's land my sight and senses went back to normal as my speed decreased I trotted upto a small woodland I made my way threw it reaching the end and their terroitory. I came across a field of wheat grain canes keeping my body low to the ground I inched foward stopping and looking up breifly searching through the fields and trees for any members of the red moon. I made my way deep inside I came across a steam with a field full of the flowers I will myself to change my wolf body breaking and refixing itself into my human form staying low I crossed the stream I kneeled down and picked a hand full of the flowers.

Inch by inch I made my way back towards the stream once I was clear I ran and didn't stop I reached a field where I saw some wolves scouting the land in the tree line I flung myself to the ground and crawled down stream from them so they couldn't smell nor see me. I saw them disappear I got up slowly and continued to run then I heard a voice clear as day Riley's voice so clear please hurry back babe I stopped spun around looking everywhere for him but couldn't see him anywhere. I just thought I was hearing things so I carried on running to no man's land

Riley's Pov

"ha ha it's done just got to wait for Alex's return with the flowers."

I turned my body towards where Nix's voice came from she entered the hallway as I was standing by the front door it fully open so I could see Alex arriving. she wore a smile on her face I just smiled and nodded.
