chapter 6 the night before!!!

Alex pov

it as almost been a week since my dad sprang that thing on me about my body is preparing for my mate and that I should. been sensing my mate already by their touch. over the days that pasted I had that feeling pain ripping through my body some days it was nothing really but others were so bad it wiped me out. Riley and the others preparing started more or less after I started mine our parents kept it to themselves never telling us until the last min.

once we all knew what was happening we kept an eye on eachother when one of us showed signs of that sensation we stood by until it stop. I was up in my room doing my home work i writing a piece about romeo and juliet all of a sudden a slight numbing ripped through my body it was happening again but it was small my body seemed to be getting use to the sensations. a part of me was glad it be over tomo but the other not so much as I would of found my mate even though I be extremely happy to have but I kinda knew who it was because of what my dad said that time you should be sensing her mate already. the pain stop after five min's or so I went back to my home work and notice droplets of blood on the paper I place two fingers by my nose pulling them away I saw blood on them I let out a sigh.

I got up from my seat keeping my head down I walked to the bathroom to grap some tissue. I blew my nose on the tissue once the blood stopped I chucked the tissue in the toilet then made my way to the sink. wetting a flannel I cleaned my face scrubbing the blood off once cleaned I looked in the mirror I noticed that my shirt was covered in blood so I pulled it off then placing it down next to the laundry basket.

I made my way out of the bathroom back to my room I closed my door behind me walking to my shirt draw I pulled out a light blue shirt and chuck it on, it was a tight fit around me showing of my muscles and abs. I went to my desk where my homework was I chucked the blooded paper in the bin I grapped a new peice, I sat on the seat grapped the pen and started to writting it all out again.

my hand began to crap up half way through my work I started to sake it and rub it but after a few mins the feeling came back in my hand. I decided to take a break at this piont so I push the chair back away from me then got up and made my way to the bedroom door. I walked down the hall way and down the stairs I headed for the kitchen as I made it in I walked to tbe cuboard graped a glass then went to the fridge pulling out some juice I poured into the glass.

I took a seat a the dinning table when tomo came flooding in my head I be 17 and not just that but I have my mate and all the signals were pointing to RIley. I felt my body shudder as I thought of this im going to mated to a guy thought didnt repusle me instead I had butterflies in my stomach, growing up I knew I wasnt the same as the other male pups the play fight all the time were I hang around with the girls. the only guys I hang about with was RIley, Adam and Liam. dont get me wrong I did play fight too but not as much because I was already strong because of my alpha status.

a hand clapped on my shoulder brought me back to my sense's "hey hun." I looked up to see my mum walking to the kitchen pulling out pots and pans placing them on the cooker even though she was one of the alpha's she helped out the others whenever she could.

"hiya mum." I said with a smile on my face she turned to me and smiled back she then went through the fridge and cupboards pulling out different kinds of meats, vegs, pasta, sauces and herbs. I just sat glued to her as she started cutting up the meats into pieces she was humming a tune which I hadn't heard in a long time.

it brought back good memories sitting here watching her like I did so many moons ago and that tune she was humming she only hummed when she was truely happy. that was most of the time, "oh hunny by the way we going out tonight just us I meaning the family to celebrate your birthday." she said whilst putting the meats in a baking tray. "mu." she cut me off before I could finish my protest "we doing it tonight because you be busy tomo and the night oh boy the nite you get to be with your mate your soulmate." I looked anywhere but her my cheeks were burning up as my face started going red.
