I was running back through the forest as I arrived near the exit, I changed back to human form. I stepped out of the forest then noticed that the party had  came to an end and everyone was gone. As I was walking past the field where the party it look a little creepy to be honest I got a chill up my back. There was rubbish everywhere the only lights were from the lanterns.Two thoughts came rushing in to my mind first was stop being scare Alex you the god dam alpha to be and the second was how long was I in the woods with Nix.

i started walking faster as the more scared i got, i mentally slapped myself in the face man up. i settled down as i saw the house come into view, i noticed there were no lights on. i opened the door and crept in trying not to wake everyone as i made my way to the stairs and put a foot on the first step. the living room lamp came on. i jumped and let out a gasp putting a hand over my mouth to keep the scream from escaping. i pyhsically hit myself of the face this time to snap out of my freight.

"Alexanda get your ass in this living room". my dad said angrily. i dreaded going in just to get shouted at. "NOW SON". he said more harsher i slowly inched forward to the double doors and pocked my head round them i saw my father and mother sitting in the sofa both looking at me with stern looks. i swallowed a lump in my throat and heading in to the room dad pointed to the seat in front of them putting my hands in the air as a sign of surrender i sat in the chair looking down to the carpet as i prepared for onslaught my dad got up and went to the cupboard and flung a towel at me. i just cover myself up before he came back to sit in the sofa.

"First things first when you turn take your clothes off". my mum "common sense". my dad finished of her sentence i nodded then looking away as my face was turning red. Dad lend forward in the sofa holding mum's hand tightly "this party was for you kids and you left half way Riley and everyone was looking for you". i just gave a sorry look i was searching his face of any expression on his face but nothing "why did you go of and where did you go Alexanda". he asked with more anger in his voice.

i gulped again and let out a long breath before answering, the thought of what i should say came in my mind should i tell him about Nix and that she was the last member of the river-creek pack or make something up. i chose to tell him about everything that happened tonight. both of the faces dropt mouths wide open shock in theirs they turned to look at each other and then back to me.

"so Alex your telling us that you meet the only surving member of the river-creek pack". My dad said leaning his arms on his legs. "that's impossible their pack got destroyed 5 years and no one knows how". My mum said shakily.

I nodded "well I do believe her she seemed to be telling the truth". I said dad gave me a confused look "she was in the woods on our land tell me why none of us sensed or smelt her". I explained to them that Nix ability was that she could suppress her scent.

"OK son we have to meet her and see if she is telling the truth". I nodded "she could be a great a member of the pack and when I next she her I get her to come round". Dad nodded. "can I be excused as it late and I got school in the morning". I asked they both nodded I stood up and wrapped the towel around my waist.

As I was making my way out of the living room a hand graped my arm and pulled so I turned around with the force. I looked up a noticed my dad hugging me and stroking my hair. "don't you ever gone in the woods alone again". He said cracking at the end, I looked at him he had tears forming in his eyes "dad dad". I said concernedly he stepped back looking at me his eyes looking into mine.
