Chapter 14 The Rescue

I'm also so sorry it's taken so long to write this chap and publish been busy plus had no Internet for a whole month which sucked but it got me back into writing lol anyways here's the next chapter the Rescue. RILEY'S POV.

I saw Alpha my dad and Nix running of in the distance my whole being and my wolf wanting to be a head of them running to Alex. Whisking him away from his capturers from Red Moon but for some reason I wasn't moving I was just stuck into place willing my body to move. The fear taken its hold as them word's came flooding back. "Riley please hurry." and "I try." fearing we be to late.

The next instance Nix was in front of me barking, she was communicating but because she wasn't from our pack I couldn't understand stand what she was saying. She morphed back into a human, knelt in front of me and slapped me on my jaw which made me yelp then a little growl escaped she just brushed it aside

"Don't you what to find Alex or not." she folding her arms over her chest.

I gave her a stern look with my wolf eyes.

As to say don't even go there.

"well get a move on and he be fine." she commanded.

The fear of losing him was replaced with the fear of not getting to him in time, using all my strength I willed my self to move. One paw in front of the other until the walk became a full on sprint using all my strength I caught up to the alpha and dad with Nix closely behind she was back in her wolf form. My muscles and body ached but I didn't care I was gonna get Alex back no matter what. Pushing passed the pain barrier I found more speed and soon was so far ahead the others were having trouble keeping up. Within a matter of ten mins we were by the field the enter no-man's and the end of our terriorty, passed this big feild was red moon's and my mate.

ALEX'S POV

My body became limp and I became so tired. I was still chained up against the wall Rex and his gang were off in the distance but I could hear them giggling and talking to eachother but it was muffled, I couldn't focus on them as my eye lids slowly draw heavier and heavier.

The thought of that Ben crept into my mind he didn't come back and neither did the other guy for that matter I prayed to the god that he was Ok for without him Riley, my dad wouldn't know where I was I didn't either so I was internally greatfull to him.

The tirdiness took its grasp as the poison was working it's way through me killing every cell along the way. I might not survive this but I was gonna stay alive so I could see my Riley on last time.

RILEY'S POV

We reached the edge of our boundaries into no man's land before us was a big field which me and Alex crossed much earlier we had no worries for the humans seeing us this time as it was getting dark it seemed the moon was on our side as it went behind a big cloud, we took our chances and ran our four legs bounding the ground using my strength to push me even faster and harder we crossed the field in five mins. Dad and the alpha took the lead Nix and I following closely behind we went back into the woods.

The atmosphere changed instantly the woods grew darker and more eerily the smell and feelings that where hitting me felt full of dread and death. My tail sunk between my back legs my head lowered but I kept moving I needed to get to Alex. Further into the woods we went "this way." alpha said we nodded our heads and followed. We got to an opening he crouched down and crawled to the edge of the cliff which greeted us we all did the same peering over the edge at the bottom there was a cave opening "down there is guardians cave." my dad said relief feeled me as my baby is in that cave somewhere.
